Mountain vistas in every direction Learn more about this land: Beautiful high desert with unlimited sunrise, sunset and stars. Near Willcox, Arizona's wine country with wine festivals, tasting rooms. Stay for the rodeo, or the short drive to visit the Chiricahua and Pinleno Mountains. We grow hops, goji Berries, and exotic bamboos, enjoy sharing our land with us. Currently our Bathroom is not functioning, so only appropriate if you have on board facilities.

Site 1 - The Original Back 40

Parked in the back part of the property, it was quiet and private. Dan was kind and his dogs were great.

Site 3 - The Original Back 40

Honeymoon Adventures

We loved spending the night on these wide open acres. The host was super nice and his dogs were super sweet. We got visited by a bull and had a campfire in the sunset after setting up our tent. There are some dogs nearby that barked throughout the night but they were far away and easily ignored. All in all, it was a lovely place that we enjoyed the night at.

Just stopped here to sleep while passing through. Worked well for that since it was convenient to the interstate. The host was very friendly. They had 3 big dogs that barked a lot at first but settled down once we were introduced.

Wasn't expecting to enjoy this place as much as I did, but the host was awesome and just seemed like someone who truly enjoyed the place. The horses wanted to be my buddy, so that was fun. A nice place to hang your hat for the evening or however long you plan to stay.

Five stars!

We stayed for two nights and pitched a tent under the old cottonwood tree. Our hosts provided us with a welcome basket, they use the tractor to clear a spot for our tent and parked the RV with the facilities as close as they could. I felt like I was very well treated. We took our kayaks up to roper lake. There's lots of birding and wineries in the area.
