The Heron Campground
208 sites · RVs, Tents300 acres · Sherman, NYThe Heron is a mindful community, raising conscious vibrations through art, music, farming, education and events while enriching lives and the land. For more information on our farm, The Farm Store, and our festivals, visit our main website. Our many camping and lodging options allow families to relax, enjoy nature, and create memories. We have over 100 sites throughout our 300 acres, some woodsy, some with views of the rolling hills and some with electric service. The Heron grounds boast a swimming and fishing pond, and over 4 miles of on-site hiking trails. Located on over 400 acres in beautiful Chautauqua County, NY, we are a working organic farm with a shiitake mushroom yard and on-site farm store. We host educational workshops, captivating music festivals, and much more! We offer many different options for camping, from tent sites nestled in the woods to RV sites with electric hook-ups (electric site reservations are to be made on that specific listing and are limited). We allow pets, all dogs must on a leash 6ft or shorter in length and held by an adult, there is a $20/stay pet fee for pets that can be paid prior to arrival. River Hills Above the Allegheny
4 sites · RVs, Tents75 acres · Parker, PAThis property is 1hr 15min from Pittsburgh. Our approach is to have a small number of campsites over a large area (4 sites on 75 acres) to maintain privacy and keep that “middle of the woods” feeling. This property sits high in the river hills above the mighty Allegheny with stunning views, soaring eagles, and wildlife living in its natural setting. There is even a waterfall with a natural pool to enjoy. This property is undeveloped with no homes on it. It is private, and posted. It is a place you can feel safe and secure. Sites are limited to 4 adults max (kids don’t count against the 4). With no electricity or running water, it is free of the constant presence of random people that you find in state parks. This is a truly great place to disconnect, discover new places, and forget the outside world. Within a 10 minute drive of your campsite you can find The North Country Trail, Rails to Trails Trailheads and Boat Launches on the Allegheny River. This is camping at its best!! The reviews do not lie!!

Neal Homestead Camp
5 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents50 acres · Brookville, PAThe stone cabin is my grandfather's homestead foundation. There was a two story house on it. He remembers his mother scrubbing the board walk to the outhouse every Saturday until the boards were white. Now the composting toilet is inside the cabin. Cornerstones of the old barn is in the field above the cabin. The soil is very rocky and Grandpa said they " lived on elderberries and groundhog". There is 50 acres with a pink marked trail to Red Bank Creek and back up through a hemlock forest. A small stream runs through the property and forms a rocky delta in Red Bank Creek. I love the rocks on the property huge and small. Hike, enjoy the sound of the stream tickling through property, stargaze, or rest and relaxation in a hammock. There is one along the little stream and one at Outdoor Adventure Camp Site.
