They could quickly saddle up when the posted lookout on the ridge above signaled the passing of the stagecoach! Even more stunning, it was the Tijeras Indian Pueblo Tribe's place of roaming and rest. The land now sports an Organic Vineyard, Orchard and Vegetable Garden that guests my forage from when in bloom. A Large, Clean, Secluded Redwood Yoga Deck, Ping-Pong, Horseshoes, and a Giant Swing Set, along with patios and lounges that are found over the 8 acre land, and all joined by a network of Scenic Pathways and Bridges that connect The Vineyard, The Orchard, The Garden, The Solar Array, The Swing, The Yoga Deck, Ping Pong Terrace, Horse shoe Pit... Los Franco driveway full RV hookups

1 site · RV1 acre · Rio Rancho, NM
The site itself is nothing special, being in our front driveway; there is parking on our driveway, or on the nearby dirt lot that is part of the "circular drive". The lot is 1/2 acre--HipCamp allows 0 or 1 acre as a choice--but the rented site is simply on the driveway. Grocery stores, parks, movies, etc, are all within 5-10 minutes. The general location is great for Balloon Fiesta, being a 15-20 minute drive to the Balloon Fiesta Park (when there is no traffic), 10 minutes to the river trails and the drains for fishing, and to the Los Ranchos area, where there are places such as the Casa Rondeña Winery or Los Poblanos. The airport--and just about everything else--is within about a 30 minute drive. There are Rail Runner stations nearby, for those who would rather take the train to Santa Fe, rather than drive the one hour north.

Towapa PhotoFarm

Pristine camping along a small creek. Flat area surrounded by mountains and cottonwoods. Hiking is along the acequia, across the creek or you can actually hike in the creek, as the water runs underground shortly past my property. There are also many places to hike west of my property along Rosa Castilla. Wild horses roam all over the BLM land and along the creek. Desert area, 6000" elevation, so very dry and must be excectionally careful about fires. Only in provided grills . There is abundant wood that you can use for free, but put all coals out and you can use the creek water, when it is there. REMEMBER this is the desert!!I would like to book a 3 month visit from January 1st-April 1st with free water. You need to provide your own electricity, but solar would be an excellent option as sites are on south facing, so panels would work well. I would like to trade a discount for help on the farm during this time. $5.00 a day disount, plus the water. You would be the only one booked during this time, so very quiet and private for long term winter stay!!
