Camping near Oslo guide

Overview

The rural town of Oslo doesn’t have any campgrounds, but there are plenty of other Northern Minnesota camping options within driving distance. Zip an hour north to Lake Bronson State Park to find tent and RV sites with amenities like electrical hookups, picnic tables, fire rings, flush toilets, showers, and dump stations. Rustic hike-in and paddle-in backcountry campsites are also available. Walk around the lake and climb the observation tower in summer, and when winter arrives, campers can snowshoe, cross-country ski, and snowmobile too. For more accommodations, drive two hours east, cross the border into North Dakota, and settle into one of the many campgrounds in Devils Lake. Discover basic tent sites, big-rig campsites with full hookups, and cabin rentals equipped with AC, full bathrooms, bed linens, and kitchenettes. Hike White Horse Hill for panoramic views, then cruise around in the boat, water ski, or fish from multiple piers. Anglers will love the modern fish cleaning station and winter ice house rentals here.
