Welcome to Whippletree! This is our sixth-generation family farm, and while it's more of a hobby farm now, it has been in continuous agricultural production since 1869! Besides tillable farm land, we are stewards of native prairie, small wooded areas, a remnant of an oak savanna and wetlands, with trails throughout. RV camping in Minnesota guide

Overview

Head up north to Ely or Grand Marais to paddle canoes into the pristine Boundary Waters, visit the Cuyuna Lakes Area to try fatbiking among turquoise mine pits and stunning fall foliage, or park your rig near Minneapolis so it’s easy to take in concerts at venues like the Minnesota State Fairgrounds or historic First Avenue. Make sure to try the fish fry, tater tot hotdish, or lutefisk offered at a Minnesota bar—these staples are as unique as the landscape! Expect to drive your coach among fields and plains in the southern part of the state and forests, over 14,000 lakes, and rocky ridges to the North. RV parks in Minnesota offer lake views, saunas, on-site boat rentals, and even the potential to spot the northern lights in winter, when you can also try snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Visit in summer for excellent fishing and boating opportunities.
