We are directly in the path of the full eclipse in April 2024!!! Do you like roughing it? We sure do! Lots of fishing and canoe rentals nearby. Beautiful scenery and safe primitive camping. Float the Crooked Creek or Buffalo National River and go fly fishing or trout fishing in Cotter (Home of the Whitewater scandal). You may see deer, possum, armadillos, and other wild animals. Snakes also inhabit the area but are usually just black snakes or "king" snakes. They eat rats, please don't kill any wildlife unless you are going to eat it. Two canoe rentals are nearby and the Crooked Creek provides fun floating. The Buffalo National River is about 20 miles away, and Bull Shoals lake is about a 20 minute drive. No light pollution so you can see the stars very well on a clear night. Electricity will be added soon but currently not available. Upgrades will come with time! Pyatt has a big family dollar and yellville has a good gas station for your essentials such as water jugs, coolers, ice, gas and propane, oil, etc. Just type "182 mc 4007" into your GPS! Snow, AR
