Ozarks Rocky Ridge

5 sites · Tents180 acres · Yellville, AR
Camp and enjoy nature on our Rocky Ridge of 180 acres located in the Ozark Mountains. Located along the scenic route highway 14 with several attractions and downtown located nearby. The property is mostly dense forest with lots of rock formations and bluffs with a spring fed creek that has several medium and small waterfalls that surround the property on 3 sides. The creek travels 3 miles from our property and empties into Bull Shoals Lake. Bull Shoals is a short 6 mile drive from the property. The land is home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, turkey, bobcats, turtles, squirrels, and though we have never seen any black bear, we have been told they are here. Please be aware that along with all the wonders of wildlife, there may also be, ticks, mosquitoes, deer flies, snakes and other not so nice wildlife. Sit back and relax while you watch nature, beautiful sunrises, sunsets and stargaze at the beautiful night sky. We hope you will enjoy visiting as much as we enjoy living in this natural wonder of nature. Enjoy the remote wilderness while being just 10 minutes from town. Some of the most popular tourist attractions include: -Bulls Shoals Lake, a popular fishing destination, famous for its white large-mouth and spotted bass populations. It is considered a warm water lake on average and seldom freezes, it has no closed season. Ideal destination for those interested in tubing, wakeboarding, jet-skiing, swimming and boating. -Rush Ghost Town, a 1300-acre historic mining district that includes the buildings, structures, roadways and mines of the Rush mining area. -Buffalo National River, a world-renowned whitewater rafting destination -Bull Shoals Caverns, one of the world’s oldest limestone caverns in the Ozark mountain range -White River, a popular spot for fishing and canoeing -North Central Arkansas Speedway, Pure stock, Hobby/Factory stock, Super Stock, Modifieds, and Sportsman Late Models. Enchanted Ozark Fairytale Camp

8 sites · Lodging, Tents104 acres · AR
Enchanted Ozark Fairytale Camp is far more than your ordinary campground! This 104-acre Ozark Mountain wonderland’s biggest draw would be hard to pin down. We are offering off-the-beaten-path serenity, with huge areas for each rental space, and unmatched hospitality. Sip morning coffee while you lose your cares in the vast mountain views, enjoy the pristine natural beauty that surrounds you in the deer meadow. Hike trails that meander to the seasonal creeks and waterfalls, past ancient walnut and hickory trees, to rest on large rock formations thick with moss, or take the high trails to the top of our bluff where views and natural oddities reward you at every bend, or just lay in the hammocks by the frog pond with a good book. Wildlife abounds on this property, including fox, black bear, deer, chipmunks, groundhogs, bobcat, and tons more. We offer fantastic add-ons like creation stations where tables of art supplies can be laid out for either self-initiated projects or sample projects with instruction by hostess, Mizzy (a working artist with pieces in every continent, save Antarctica). Forage hikes, where you learn about the immense variety of edible plants, guided photo op hikes, cut and make your own walking stick ( and make it your own by wood burning, adding leather and feathers), are just a few of the options we have daily to add to your stay. Close to the Little Buffalo River and the quaint little town of Jasper, where you can shop, eat at the famous Ozark Cafe, or rent a kayak. One-of-a-kind stays include a fully off-grid container tiny house, boondock RV space, super large tent spaces, and coming soon a hippy van sleeper, cordwood log cabin, (we encourage sustainable building questions) we may be farther off the beaten track than those roadside places, but we are so very worth it. Come be Enchanted.

182 MC 4007

3 sites · RVs, Tents6 acres · Pyatt, AR
We are directly in the path of the full eclipse in April 2024!!! Do you like roughing it? We sure do! Lots of fishing and canoe rentals nearby. Beautiful scenery and safe primitive camping. Float the Crooked Creek or Buffalo National River and go fly fishing or trout fishing in Cotter (Home of the Whitewater scandal). You may see deer, possum, armadillos, and other wild animals. Snakes also inhabit the area but are usually just black snakes or "king" snakes. They eat rats, please don't kill any wildlife unless you are going to eat it. Two canoe rentals are nearby and the Crooked Creek provides fun floating. The Buffalo National River is about 20 miles away, and Bull Shoals lake is about a 20 minute drive. No light pollution so you can see the stars very well on a clear night. Electricity will be added soon but currently not available. Upgrades will come with time! Pyatt has a big family dollar and yellville has a good gas station for your essentials such as water jugs, coolers, ice, gas and propane, oil, etc. Just type "182 mc 4007" into your GPS! Snow, AR
