This 300-acre bamboo property gives you total tranquillity in nature. There are boats and boards to use, and an island kingdom for kids to play. Kiss and release fishing (Perch) in the awesome lake, which is also great for swimming, and building bamboo rafts. Adventures awaits! Basic, off-grid camp kitchen, big weatherproof wedding venue space to hire, posh dunnies (composting toilets), and a hot water shower shack with a magic view of the lake! There is plenty of shade and we're dog-friendly. Well-behaved dogs are welcome off-lead. Endless space, and plenty of privacy, campers can choose a spot when they get here. A bundle of firewood is provided on arrival, and you're welcome to bring more with you if you need. Price is per person per night, kids under 16 half price. Under 5 stay free so don't include them in booking numbers. Join us for cocktail hour at the brand-new Tiki bar! BYO drinks! We also have a brand-new sauna that campers are welcome to enjoy! All this, close to stunning beaches and cute cafes. Leave only footprints 👣 make awesome memories. NOTE: We currently only advertise availability three months in advance. If you seek adventure this camp site is for you! Cooks Creek meanders through the property offering many nice spots to cool off in the warmer months. Whether it is turning off and immersing yourself in the tranquility of your surrounds or looking for an adventure with endless bushwalking tracks we offer it all. Surrounded by State Forest, adventure awaits you! **Please be advised ROADS - access to property is through unsealed State forest roads. Suitable 4wd vehicles. Please note roads have some washouts, corrugates and steep descents. You must have knowledge of driving off road. FIRES - fires permitted in fire pits when no restrictions are in place. Please note we are in a secluded area surrounded by heavy bushland so great care must be taken to ensure everyone's safety. Firewood can be purchased upon check-in. NO Toilet or Showers - All campers MUST HAVE their own portable toilet. NO EXCEPTIONS!! On departure all waste must be taken and disposed of in nearby town dumping stations. WATER - Please bring your own drinking water or collect from creek BYO LEAVE NO TRACE - everything must be brought in with you to be self-sufficient as we are 45 minutes away from nearest towns ( Bellingen or Bowraville). We do ask that all rubbish is taken with you when you leave. There is no council rubbish collection in this area. PETS - animals are welcome but as this is a working farm we do ask that dogs must be familiar with farm animals or be leashed. Respect is also asked of other visitor's and control over your animals at all times is expected. All vehicles must be registered to enter property - vehicle details will be required prior to check-in. PHONES - no reception NOISE - Shutdown for music is 10pm NO EXCEPTIONS! We want to ensure everyone enjoys their stay. Extra’s Horse Trail Ride Tour Multi Day - you will need to supply your own horse or be an experienced rider to ride one of our horses. Horse riding experience will need to be demonstrated prior to departure and access to the property is by horseback. ⚠️Road is unsuitable for horse floats at the moment. You'll feel away from it all yet so close to the conveniences of the city / Jetty / Park Beach and a short drive to a choice of some of Australia most beautiful beaches, national parks and viewing platforms. Enjoy the outdoors by dining on the entertainers veranda, where you'll enjoy the undercover table for 6 or relax in the morning sun on one of the reclined pool chairs overlooking the gardens. 'Killarney Nymboida River' is a family run working cattle farm on the banks of the pristine Nymboida River, located 47km Southwest of Grafton. Our accommodation would perfectly suit a few couples, 2 families or a group of up to 10 people. Your booking will include both The Cottage and The Shed. 'The Cottage' is open plan with loft style accommodation with 2 x queen beds, 2 x KS and 2 x floor mattresses. It has a lounge room area with TV, small kitchenette and bathroom. All linen is provided. 'The Shed' is also open style accommodation with 3 x double beds and 1 x KS. It also has a bathroom with laundry, Kitchenette, the kids pool table and a ping pong table. All bed linen for this area is stored in a tub in the shed and beds can be made up by guests as needed. Just bring towels! Making memories is what we are about whether that be fishing, swimming, kayaking, watching the races in the bar over a game of pool or just sitting by the fire with your favorite tunes to relax and unwind. Some guests may be lucky enough spot a platypus or even witness the mustering team in action from a distance. For those adventure lovers out there, who enjoy canoeing or kayaking, you may want to take advantage of being on section one of 'The Longest Whitewater Trail in Australia'. If you enjoy 4WD adventures a day trip to The Junction at the Nymboi-Binderay National Park is well worth the drive. The closest town to get supplies is Coutts crossing, approx 22km drive. There is a BP service station with a general store and post office inside. Here you can also grab a coffee and takeaway food. Coutts Crossing also has a Tavern which does lunch and dinner most days and locally run raffles most Friday nights. All fishing is catch and release - Please refer to the 'Rules' regarding fishing.
