We loved this spot! My dog is older now so it was really nice to have him be able to run around in a big field with soft grass. I put his booties on when we walked through the trails. The lake is gorgeous and peaceful, the woods are fun to explore, and the campsite is clean and private. Jamie was so welcoming. We will definitely be back here.

Lovely spot with shade trees and open, quiet land. We could hear the water fowl and water lapping in the lake behind the camp spot. We didn't see or hear anyone from when we arrived until we left. It was a calm place we needed to pause and reset.

GREAT OUT OF THE WAY AND HIDDEN CAMPING ON THE BRAZOS! We pitched a tent in between lots of trees and on the river. Don’t expect it to be manicured. Decent showers and restrooms within walking distance- in a style that one would expect at a campground with this name Gypsy in it. Very relaxed campground . Very friendly Owners/ hosts.

Gipsy Moon was a great place for tent camping! The folks there are friendly and helpful, and the sites are lovely and clean. Generally, the campground was quiet and peaceful. This property is eclectic! They have plenty of sites to camp- all named accordingly, we stayed in Fox Hollow. It was such a cozy little site! There are restrooms and showers in the common area complete with goats and ducks! They have a water source and youre able to collect as needed. Amy has fire wood available and fruits and veggies! Don't forget the camp kitten!! I feel like people are permanent residents here-a tiny home community and you may need all wheel drive if it rains. We would go back for sure, I want to venture out again and stay at the site by the river. Everyone kept to themselves and it was so peaceful and quiet--nature sounds, goats and ducks...it was great!

This place is really family friendly—particularly for those that want to go camping but don’t want to do their business outside and want to shower. The animals are the best part imo. We got to pet the goats and even had some of the kids (goat babies) lay in our laps. The site is very clean and the local community is very friendly.
