Amber Ridge Estate

8 sites · RVs, Tents68 acres · Paynedale, WA
68-acre peaceful retreat nestled within State Forest, a short drive from Donnybrook. We are one of only two properties in this small, isolated pocket. We have four sites available for self-contained campers, and one site that offers bathroom facilities. Stay here and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of your surroundings over a glass of wine from one of the local wineries or head out and explore the beautiful Geographe Wine Region. Redgum Hill Nestled in amongst the red gums on an elevated position near the edge of the property, you will be camping next to the old hay shed. The birdlife here is amazing, with red tailed cockatoos and honeyeaters amongst others frequently visiting. Please take care whilst exploring around this area, there are some deep rabbit warrens around the hay shed, which can be hidden in the grass in winter. This site has no facilities, self-contained campers/vans only. You MUST bring a toilet with you. Valley Vista Valley Vista is a private and secluded haven, on an elevated spot backed onto state forest looking down over the valley, with arguably the best views of the farm. This site has no facilities, self-contained campers/vans only. You MUST bring a toilet with you. Creek Junction Creek Junction is a peaceful area by the creek line nestled in amongst the trees, where the gully running down the hill meets the creek. One of our three dams is hidden in amongst the tea tree bushes nearby. You can see the house from this campsite, but it is far enough away that privacy is not an issue. This site has no facilities, self-contained campers/vans only. You MUST bring a toilet with you. Please be aware, all of our dams are seasonal and will be very low in the summer months. We also recommend that you do not swim in them. Hidden Corner Hidden Corner is situated at the back corner of the property. It is the most isolated of the three campsites with views of the open paddock and across the valley in front of you and state forest behind. This site has no facilities. We are only approved for self-contained campers/vans. You MUST bring a toilet with you. Shed Pad with bathroom Shed Pad is a powered site (15 amp) situated next to the main shed with bathroom facilities, including a flushing toilet. This site is relatively flat, perfect for a couple of tents or two medium/one large caravan. It overlooks neighbouring paddocks and state forest. Please note, this site has a two-night minimum stay requirement. Base price covers two people.

Driveway Stop

1 site · RV1 acre · Bunbury, WA
DOUBLE DRIVEWAY AT THE FRONT OF OUR HOUSE opposite bushland for caravan, motorhome, campervan, camper trailer, roof top tent (under 6m from tow ball to back or from bull bar to back). Mains water hook up, power, flushing toilet and Joolca HOTTAP camp shower over bath in shed. Quiet street located central to Bunbury and all the surrounding attractions. You are welcome to spend the day relaxing in the front garden under the front patio, on a gliding chair or in the hammock. Please note; this is a very small property where our house and windows face the front patio and garden (that we also use at times). We are very respectful and give you the space as much as possible, but if you like and want company then let us know. We enjoy chatting, hearing about your travels, playing board games and telling you about nice spots to visit (best free dolphin viewing). The idea is to give travellers a place to pull up, connect up, refill, shower, and view the surrounding sights on a budget, rather than a tranquil property to get away too (if you are wanting a solitary, isolated location this is NOT for you as your only privacy is in your vehicle. CCTV in operation). We have travelled extensively and would have liked something simple like this to shower, power, sleep and go (and relax at in-between). Those needing to stay for longer periods are welcome by negotiation. NOTE: * THIS IS DOUBLE DRIVEWAY PARKING/CAMPING AT THE FRONT OF OUR HOUSE. * YOU WILL BE IN VERY CLOSE PROXIMITY TO OUR HOUSE. * No ground tents, swags, annexes or anything that requires pegging. * Your RV needs to be under 6m from tow ball to back or from bull bar to back * No shade over your accomodation until late afternoon. * No emptying of chemical/portable toilets in our outside toilet. * Please use dump sites located in Bunbury. * Please collect own wastewater. * No pets. * One child only (+ a baby under 10 months). Driveway camping, a small yard with non-edible plants not ideal for children. * Must have own kitchen or be prepared to eat out or buy take away. * Please provide a 15A adapter if you require it and power cord. * CCTV. We look forward to having you stay with us and hearing about your travels so far.
