Had an amazing experience at Galea Ranch! Wayne and Sharelle are incredibly welcoming and genuine hosts who truly care about their guests. The place is peaceful, well-kept, and has a warm family vibe that makes you feel right at home. Their attention to detail and friendly hospitality made the whole visit unforgettable.
Highly recommended — can’t wait to come back!

Will definitely come again. We had a group of 5 dads and 5 kids, and tented on lush grass near an onsite fire pit and little playground. Wayne and Sharelle’s hospitality was lovely, taking the kids to feed the chickens and answering all the questions they had about the highland coos. It’s a beautiful property, very peaceful, away from the tourist areas but close enough to grab a morning coffee and breakfast. Plenty of firewood provided and the flush toilet and hot shower amenities were spotless, inviting and straight out of home. You’re separated from the one other camp site so you have a feeling of having the place to your own. Would highly recommend.

Thankyou Wanye and Sharelle, you're place is an awesome spot to camp with the luxury of great amenities. We arrived to a super tidy space, prepared fire waiting to be lit and apples to feed beautiful, friendly animals. You guys are so thoughtful and welcoming, thanks again!

If you're a lover of old school Australiana vibes I know you'll appreciate this place! Plenty to lap up. A great mix of sites as well; lush/ private/ great views/ secluded/ grassy/ flat etc, take your pick! Suited more for people who are comfortable being far away from a toilet. The property is nice and spacious. Hosts are kind too! Will definitely come back!

We loved camping at the Secret Garden (16 mates plus a dog!, all tent camping). So close to the city but with a secluded kind of vibe. Flat ground for tents was limited but we all made do just fine. The area and grounds are lovely and well maintained. BBQ and tables worked a treat. We didn't end up using any power on site so cannot comment but there was solar and a battery on site. The owner was extremely helpful in the lead up and very accomodating. Sunsets and plane spotting were fantastic. It was still a little chilly for us to get in the water but the spot itself was stunning. We'll be back!

A unique remote location but you are still close to Melbourne.
Plenty of space for a large group to camp and still have private space if they choose.
It's a really cool place but will only stay that way if we look after it.
A good camping motto is: "Always leave the campsite better than you found it".

Enjoyed staying at this site. It was as peaceful as I imagined. The hosts are thoughtful and provided us with a site with good cover for the expected wind. There is plenty of space to investigate. If you like animals, you'll see a kookaburra, cows, sheep, wallabies, and wombat if it ventures out. If you don’t want to be in a public space, then I highly recommend Russies farm.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the ranch. Wayne & Sharelle were very hospitable and communication was fantastic. Lots of space and level ground for our caravan, amenities were great, loved the animals and the scenery and wildlife was beautiful while we took it all in beside the camp-fire. Will definitely be back again

We had a great time at Galea Ranch - it felt as if we had the place to ourselves. Wayne and Sharelle were amazingly warm and friendly they were really helpful and we felt extremely welcome. We loved the cows and being able to feed them as well as the pony and chickens. Our fur kids were also welcome and had a great weekend! Thanks for having us!

Enjoyed visiting Russia’s Farm Stay.
Russ took the time to welcome and show us around and take us to our camp spot. Everything was organised on site and we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely be back to try the catch and release fishing!
