Other attractions in the area are Gumbuya World, Nangara Reserve, Noojee and Neerim South, PLUS of course the wineries. The Tarago River backs onto our small yet spacious, open yet shaded space. The river is shallow for paddling, as well as ‘swimmable’ (at your own risk), a lovely spot to cool off on our warm summer days, or a mesmerising place to sit, watch, read, contemplate, draw or write. Some large old Mountain Ash remain along the river bank, with lots of new plantings. It is not uncommon to see an echidna, a variety of stunning birdlife, and on dusk, maybe a wombat family. We also host a family of platypus if you are very quiet. Our river block can hold up to 4 caravans (under 10 metres) and a couple of tents in one group (one booking). In addition, the upper adjoining block can accommodate 2 caravans (enquire for this option). This is a single group occupancy site so you can enjoy the privacy of your group. If you wish to hook into our powered site, please add $10 per night, per van. All campers will also have access to our Casa Cucina gorgeous eclectic, quirky community space to sit in out of the weather. Please note: This is not an accommodation space. As a reminder, all campers will need to be Self Contained as we have no toilet facilities, no access to fresh water, cold showers only and no cooking facilities. Living in the bush brings with it that you cannot light a fire in fire danger periods, and, heating on a woodstove, means there is a hot stove in the room. (watch those little fingers...) Our aim is to give you a place of rest and enjoyment. We love to share our space as we love it here so much- and hope you love it too. As life is a project - don't expect 10* linen and luxury, state of the art gardens and clipped lawns, but a friendly welcoming atmosphere where you can be yourself and relax. Natural bush paddock setting with lots of privacy. Hugh and i shared a drop of red and i met some hicamping neighbors. The fact there's public toilets nearby is a bonus. Planning to go back.

Chris's place by the river is beautiful. The sound of the river and the birds was breathtaking. The grounds were extremely neat and tidy and the little hut was very quirky and interesting. We sat in there one afternoon when it got quite windy so it was very handy. Chris was very quick responding to any communication and very friendly.

Great spot with plenty of room, nice and level. Great access for even large caravans. Wayne is very friendly and we enjoyed meeting his dogs, Tillie and Daisy and have them play around our campsite. Also lovely to have the horses come to greet us

Fantastic location and a beautiful farmland to camp. Farm to sea views it certainly was . There was plenty of space , shady trees and clean portaloos . Bring your gum boots for the rainy days- being close to the coast things dried out quickly. It was great to see all campers there were respectful of the environment. Thanks to Alannah for being really easy to deal with.

We loved the farm and the view over the fields. It was the perfect spot to get away from the world if your setup is pretty self sufficient. There was cooking and camp fire provided and even a few push bikes to get around the farm. Thanks for the great communication and a warm greeting at the gate.

The fenced off area is well maintained and can comfortably fit 3 vans. It is also pet friendly, so dogs have plenty of space to roam off lead. There is also a cute little room where you can hang out if the weather is not being nice.

A lovely stay and really close to Melbourne City so it's easily accessible. Diana and Tony were both very accommodating and warm. They were responsive the entire time. Our 2yo son had a fantastic time exploring and running around the farm. After the stay we spent the day in the area exploring - we will definitely visit again!
