Inglis River Caravan and Camping Retreat is tucked away beside the Inglis River, 6mins from Wynyard or 30mins from Burnie. It is a secluded hideaway from the world. The property has cleared land, is partially forested and is located on a bend in the Inglis river. The property is home to wildlife including wallabies, wild ducks and fresh water lobster. We also have a few cows and goats on the property that love being fed a bit of bread 🐮 Apples are provided as well subject to availability. The animals will be your new best friend 😉 Kick back and relax around the campfire or take a swim in one of the many swimming holes, go Kayaking, fishing, walking, or mountain biking on our pretty cool down hill 400m thrill seeking track. Do you like Tasmanian Tigers? We have 10 located around the property. See how many your children can find 🥰 There is 15 acres to explore 🙌🏻 Plenty to keep the family entertained! It’s only a 6min drive into the Wynyard township to stock up on supplies or grab a nice coffee or meal at one of the local cafes. You could check out the award winning Wonders of Wynyard Information Centre, the Veteran Car Display and Art Gallery, the gorgeous walks and scenic drive to Table Cape Lighthouse, Fossil Bluff or Boat Harbour Beach. The Wynyard Foreshore Market is also on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month along the East Wynyard Foreshore. It’s definitely worth a look 👀 Feeling adventurous and want to explore? The Stanley Nut is only a 40minute drive west where you can learn all about the history the town has on offer. You could also check out Dip falls, The Big Tree or The Trowutta Arch. Love horses or want to learn how to ride? William’s Run Riding School is literally down the road from our property. Why don’t you check them out during your stay 🐴 Want to go bushwalking? Located at Sheffield, the town of murals, is our home, Almost Heaven Clydesdales. We are based on a 50-acre working Beef cattle stud. You'll find lots of quiet pets to pat, farm experiences, and an assortment of activities. A wonderful green space to recharge, reflect and recoup with big open spaces to camp on level ground, with brilliant stars at night and beautiful vistas during the day. We have on offer produce to pick from the market garden (seasonal), admire our lovely stud cattle as they roam about their day, help feed the chooks and collect fresh eggs, or watch our beautiful Clydesdales being worked or relaxing in the paddocks after hours. We offer grassy, level paddocks for campers, where you are welcome to choose your own spot to set up, ensuring your privacy. All campers must be self-sufficient, with their own toilet and we kindly ask you to take all waste with you. There is a dump station in town. Nestled in the heart of North West Tasmania with camping close to Cradle Mountain only a 35 minute picturesque drive, 15 min from Sheffield the town of Murals, 5 min to Lake Barrington perfect for swimming, rowing, water skiing, power boating and canoeing, 5 mins to Tasmazia with its model villages and endless mazes to occupy the kids along with many walks and natural Tasmanian attractions close by. For those wanting to spread out, prefer privacy or are traveling in groups we encourage you to book our 4wd Plateau and 4wd Dispersed Sites which are open during the peak months depending on cattle movements. Our main campground has 10 sites and is open all year round. The main campground has level grassed campsites measuring 6m in width and 19m in length (Sites 2 - 10) Campsite 1 is the larger site and measures 10m in width and 19m in length and sits seperate to the other sites. Price advertised is per site, per night for 2 people. Campfires permitted in designated area within the main campground only and when restrictions aren't in place. Firewood is provided. Sunridge Valley Views is a perfect home base to explore the many tourist attractions in the Latrobe, Kentish and Meander Valley regions. Travellers can enjoy a peaceful getaway that offers a private, quiet, safe stopover with magnificent views of the Great Western Tiers and the Mersey Valley. Watch the sun set over the majestic Mt Roland, then settle in for a tranquil night under a star-studded sky. At almost 300 metres above sea level, “Sunridge” our 37-hectare working farm sits on the eastern end of Sunnyside, a rich agricultural area 30 minutes inland from the Spirit of Tasmania terminal at East Devonport. Valley Views provide breathtaking views of the Mersey Valley and its arable agricultural pastures. Travelers will need to be fully self-contained and of course ‘leave no trace’. The camp areas are located at the entrance to the property with ample room to pitch your tent or maneuver your RV. There are two communal fire pots on site, wood is on hand via a donation honesty box. There are wonderful fishing, swimming and kayaking options at both Merseylea and Kimberely less than 10 minutes’ drive away. You'll find many opportunities for hiking, with trails suitable for all ages and abilities. The closest dump point is a 9-minute drive to the “Town of Topiary” Railton, where you will find two charming coffee shops, a hotel, post office, a petrol station with a convenience store, a mechanic, a craft brewery and a takeaway shop. Railton boasts the delightful Goliath Park, with multiple recreational activities available including a tennis court, a pump track, skate park, covered barbeque and picnic area and playground. It’s also where you’ll find a trail head for the World Class Wild Mersey Mountain Bike Network, complete with toilets and wash down bays. Every Saturday morning, an idyllic bush setting hosts the Railton Park Run. Ten minutes up the road you’ll find Sheffield, the Town of Murals and further south, Cradle Mountain. This is a working farm, we have working dogs and sheep, so four-legged friends must remain on leash. La Bena Tarkine Sanctuary

Our 34-acre property is nestled on the edge of the ancient Tarkine rainforest on the north west coast of Tasmania (approx 1 hour 15 min west of Devonport and the Spirit of Tasmania). At La Bena, you will find a relaxing and quiet place to park and camp, that will give you easy access to our wild surroundings. On the property, we have a short but enchanting bush walk to our local creek (great place for a picnic!) that will take you past some giant man ferns, myrtles, celery top pines, pepper berries, and an assortment of gums and native currents. From 4WD tracks to pristine beaches, we are within a 30-minute drive of a huge range of activities and adventures so numerous options for day trips on your doorstep. Famous Boat Harbour Beach is only a short 15-minute drive away and just beyond that is Sisters Beach which has some great coves and hikes (Anniversary Bay) into Rocky Cape National Park that will take you along the coast to further secluded beaches and some sacred Aboriginal sites. If you head inland from La Bena you will enter the Tarkine Rainforest and travel along some great 4WD tracks that will take you to the Dip River Forest Reserve which has the big tree and Dip Falls - you can then head to Stanley for a meal at Hursey's Seafood and then loop back around to camp (a great day out). The camping area caters to self-contained campers only, so please ensure you have a camp toilet with you, and can take all waste when you go. Please leave no trace.

Pitch your tent or park your van next to one of our lovely dams. The property is home to running streams, waterfalls, platypus, free range pigs, sheep along with stunning views. Visitors can enjoy swimming in the warmer months and lots of walking and exploring the rest of the year. Campers must be self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Camp fires are welcome pending there are no restrictions and they must be kept contained. Access can be difficult after heavy rainfall and you will need to drive through opened paddocks and unformed tracks to campsites so please use caution. We are just 20 mins drive to Ulverstone and a 10 minute drive to Leven canyon, Preston falls and Gunns Plains so there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. 60 minutes drive to Cradle Mountain and 90 mins drive Tullah West coast. 30 mins Penguin and Devonport.
