The property is a private farm with 2 dams and views extending across the valley. There are a number of suitable locations to for bush camping. Site access is limited to dry weather and vehicles with single axle camper trailer or tent. Vehicles with higher ground clearance are more suitable. The River Upstream is the flattest of the campgrounds if you require a completely level site for your vehicle. A number of alpacas and sheep share the camp grounds. Sites suit bush camping with limited amenities. Potable water is available upon request but there are no toilets or services on site. There are a number of great wineries in the area all with excellent food and produce you can enjoy. Close to: Hahndorf - 5 min drive Stirling - 10 min drive Mount Lofty - 15 min drive Tour Down under (TDU) - passes at the end of the road several wineries Campers must be self contained with their own camping toilet and water and take all rubbish with them upon departure. We are a small vineyard, winery and cellar door set on 45 acres of land. It's mostly pasture with 7 acres of vineyard. Guests are welcome to park during the week in the cellar door carpark. On weekends we have a grassed strip, 8 metres wide, between a vineyard block and a windbreak. Which overlooks the valley behind and distant hills to the front. Being self contained is essential. Our toilets are only accessible when the cellar door is open. On weekends guests are welcome to come for dinner on Friday or for lunch on Saturday or Sunday, and then stay overnight, so they can enjoy a few drinks without worrying about driving home!

We recently stayed at Tilbrook Estate Vineyard. While the campground could have used a bit of a mow, the beautiful views from the campsite made up for it. Annabelle’s warm and welcoming manner set the tone for a lovely visit, and our meal at Pica Pica restaurant was an absolute highlight — incredible food paired with a delicious sangria that quickly became a favourite. Overall, the stunning setting, friendly hospitality, and fabulous dining made our stay truly worthwhile. 🍷✨

Caleb the host was great with clear instructions and was very welcoming. The lake view site is the furthest from the road but you can still get some noise. Nice walks and views and extremely close to Goolwa. We’ll probably be back.

Where to start ! James and his wife were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them Their wines are outstanding. Didn’t find a wine we didn’t like. The views from the winery were beautiful and it was lovely to have it all to ourselves at night. Compliments to the chef.. his paella was amazing. Would be worth a trip back just to taste it We had full use of their very clean toilets and a water tap was nearby. We parked by the vines but if we went again during the week we would definitely take advantage of the pitch at the winery that has spectacular views 11/10 👏👏👏

Excellent communication and information from Neil and Deb. The property was easy to find and just stunning. Lots level areas to park, with plenty of space between campers (if everyone is considerate that is). Great spaces to catch solar and handy for all things to see on the peninsula. We had a full day driving to the west coast via Yankalilla (fab kebabs and fish n chips), then a lovely walk at Second Valley and plenty of other stops. Another day head east to Goolwa, Middleton (fab bakery) and Port Elliot. 7 minutes from Victor Harbour and you could spend a day there too. I would recommend Bunny Beach over a caravan park for the space and peaceful location. Thanks Deb and Neil.

Beautiful spot - tucked away, with a pretty creek that you can explore and fall asleep to. And a little walk up the hill gives you views of the ocean. Alexandra was great at communicating with us ahead of the trip to make sure we knew where we were going and familiar with the spot before we arrived.
