The property is a private farm with 2 dams and views extending across the valley. There are a number of suitable locations to for bush camping. Site access is limited to dry weather and vehicles with single axle camper trailer or tent. Vehicles with higher ground clearance are more suitable. The River Upstream is the flattest of the campgrounds if you require a completely level site for your vehicle. A number of alpacas and sheep share the camp grounds. Sites suit bush camping with limited amenities. Potable water is available upon request but there are no toilets or services on site. There are a number of great wineries in the area all with excellent food and produce you can enjoy. Close to: Hahndorf - 5 min drive Stirling - 10 min drive Mount Lofty - 15 min drive Tour Down under (TDU) - passes at the end of the road several wineries Campers must be self contained with their own camping toilet and water and take all rubbish with them upon departure. Due to the livestock on site dogs unfortunately are not allowed. 1. Fires are only permitted outside of fire ban days 2. Potable water is available on request. Please contact the host 3. Caleb the host was great with clear instructions and was very welcoming. The lake view site is the furthest from the road but you can still get some noise. Nice walks and views and extremely close to Goolwa. We’ll probably be back.

My family and I absolutely loved camping out in our caravan right next to the water and waking up to the sunrise each morning reflecting off of the cliff faces of the Murray River. Our host Susan was lovely and very informative of the area amd even let us borrow a small row boat to explore the lagoon with.

Beautiful spot, very peaceful and quiet. I had the place to myself which was nice. I was a little early and managed to find Rob, it wasn't an issue, very welcoming. The river is calming and the bird life is abundant, all combined makes for a relaxing camp.

There was a large variety of bird life around. It was a lovely secluded spot, our dogs enjoyed paddling in the water and running around playing. Caught some fish and fed them to the pelicans. Very relaxing, look forward to visiting again in the future

Excellent communication and information from Neil and Deb. The property was easy to find and just stunning. Lots level areas to park, with plenty of space between campers (if everyone is considerate that is). Great spaces to catch solar and handy for all things to see on the peninsula. We had a full day driving to the west coast via Yankalilla (fab kebabs and fish n chips), then a lovely walk at Second Valley and plenty of other stops. Another day head east to Goolwa, Middleton (fab bakery) and Port Elliot. 7 minutes from Victor Harbour and you could spend a day there too. I would recommend Bunny Beach over a caravan park for the space and peaceful location. Thanks Deb and Neil.
