Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

There are various walking tracks across the creek, with beautiful views. Keep your eyes peeled for kingfishers, parrots, and other little birds or maybe even a platypus! If you want a slightly steeper trek, then head to the top of the mountain where you'll find expansive views overlooking the entire area and onto vast forestry. We run a few head of cattle and horses on the property which will occasionally mosey into view, and say hello over the fence. All campers need to be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, and we kindly ask you to take all waste when you go.

The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. Above, birds of prey ride the thermals of the valley looking for their next meal. “We have been blessed beyond measure with a small slice of God’s wonderful creation that we would love to share with you.”

At Valley Camping you can pitch your tent, park your camper or caravan to access the beautifully mowed campsites beside the Yabba Creek and spring fed dam. Each site is secluded and quiet and provides you with a fire pit to enjoy in the evenings and there is a picnic table as well. There is over a kilometre of creek frontage for you to explore during your stay. Spend your days by the beautiful creek side and enjoy endless swimming, fishing and kayaking. We would love to welcome fully self contained campers with their own toilet/shower facilities but we also have a portable toilet available for use. It may be a bit of a walk from some of the campsite. Under no circumstances leave toilet paper (among other very unpleasant things) in the bush surrounding the campsites. We ask that you please take all rubbish with you on departure and leave the area as you found it. All camp sites must be left in the same condition as you found it absolutely no litter of any kind. Messy campers will be reported to Hipcamp. Under no circumstances place any rubbish in any of the rubbish bins along Reeves Road as our neighbours are very unappreciative of this. All this is just 5 minutes from Imbil and Kandanga where you can find everything you need for a great camping trip. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times and must not disturb other campers. Please ensure you clean up after your pets.

Our property is located on the site of the First Kilkivan Township and was home to a gold rush in 1868 where a 73 oz nugget was discovered. Guests will have access to a portable toilet and fire pit throughout their stay. Gold is still found in and around the creek with fossicking permitted at an extra daily rate of $25 per person. As this is private property we require that all the QLD Fossicking Act rules and regulations are followed this includes having your own permit which must be supplied before fossicking is permitted. These rules include no machinery or pump operated sluices such as high banking sluices. Detectors are welcome and some great finds have been found with them including gold and coins from the 1860’s. Large groups are welcome. There are many great shaded camping spots along the creek or a large open area of about 50 acres for larger groups. The property is a beautiful spot with some gorgeous views and wildlife. The swimming hole was a favourite as it was so much fun! The waterfall walk was very refreshing, it will look amazing when it is in flow. The doggies had the best time with plenty of space to run around. My group of 6 stayed at Big Fig which was a lovely spot with plenty of room. The bathroom was also rather pleasant with plenty of hot water. We would definitely come and stay again!

My man and I loved tent camping along the water. The sunset views and starry nights were to die for. So peaceful and the ladies who run the stay were absolutely wonderful. While packing up my car wouldn't start so they came down and fixed my car. Dogs were so cute and my puppy had an amazing time swimming in the dam. As a young couple with a dog, this place was perfect.

A great stop beside the highway for 1 or 2 nights. Close to eumundi. 3kms. You wouldn’t walk. The highway is noisy but didn’t keep us awake. The hosts are lovely. Friendly with some great memorabilia. I wouldn’t stay more than a night or 2. Convenience is the word.

The best time to visit would be after the summer rain to enjoy the creek, though, there are some great walks to enjoy, including Wrattens Falls or the cave. Despite it being very dry elsewhere at Maluka Park it was beautiful and green and very quiet, just how I like it! Highly recommend and i will be back....

Maluka Park is everything it says it is and more! The reviews are 100% accurate, this place is stunning, peaceful and the owners are so lovely and greet you on arrival. There are only 10 sites on this property and they are spaced out so well, that everyone has their own space to spread out in. Our kids (and us) absolutely loved kayaking down Yabba Creek, it was just beautiful. The wildlife and scenery on this property is just amazing!! The toilets are a short walk up the driveway and are very clean and tidy and there is a really nice bush walk or lookout walk. We will definitely be back (we can see how they won best HIPcamp in Australia) Thanks very much for having us!

We just loved it. Mountain View was wonderful. Jason dropped in to say hello the first day then left us alone. There were few prickles and the ground was flat, mostly grassy and we had plenty of room. We were able to throw the balls for the dogs and tire them out. The cattle and horses were fun to watch. We also saw kangaroos and lots of birds. The ticks were a bit offputting but we coped. The dogs had just been tick treated and they didn't seem to have any on them. It was tick season. We will be back in winter next time.

Our camping ground is in Amamoor in the beautiful Mary Valley. It was once the local cricket pitch , so is a lovely flat spot to camp, with a mountain view to one side and our creek bordering the other 3 sides. It is within minutes drive from the Amamoor General store so supplies are never far away. It has easy access off Moorehouse Gully Rd and is fully fenced from the road. Upon discovering the Mary Valley, we found our farm and fell in love with the views, the mango plantation and the gorgeous nearby villages. Our property was once a pineapple farm and was part of a much larger property owned by the previous owners for over 60 years. The Mary Valley Rattler steam train is a great addition to the history of the area and stops at our local village of Amamoor. Amamoor has the village Green Cafe opened from Wednesday to Sunday and also is where the Rattler stops for refreshments on the weekends. On Saturday afternoon you can visit Dagun station down the road for a wine tasting and find fresh produce at the station market. With Kandanga village 10 minutes away, the Country Club and the Kandanga Hotel, a refreshing beer, a good meal and even a game of bowls is not far away. Cycle the rail trail , kyak the Mary River and check out the State Forest and all its trails, there is so much to explore. Our venue and campgrounds are situated at the old Jimna State School property. The school closed in 2009 with the last students attending in 2006. It was then sold by the Qld government and has been rezoned as a Camping, Recreation and Events Venue. We have retained all the old school facilities for our campers to enjoy. There is a children’s playground and multi-purpose tennis court for everyone to enjoy. We provide tennis rackets, balls and basketballs free of charge to our campers. There is also no charge or fee to use the court. On most Sundays afternoons (weather permitting), we have social tennis where everyone is welcome to join in. The old school toilet blocks have the addition of hot showers and all toilet facilities are the flushing type. Campfires are permitted and there are small mobile fire pits provided so wherever you set up camp you can have your campfire right beside you. Our property is situated on the banks of the great sandy strait just 400m from the Tuan Boat ramp with access to Fraser Island by boat or kayak. We are surrounded by Tuan State Forest and wetlands. There is a medium sized dam on the property for swimming.The Tuan Forshore has a park, BBQ area and picnic tables as well as garbage disposal. There is plenty of space in the surrounding forests for mountain biking, motor-biking and walking. 3km down the road in Boonooroo you will find a large park with tennis court and public BBQ's. The bowls club and Golf Club just 3km away and serve meals on weekends. This site is suitable for caravans, RV's, camper trailers. There is NO toilet facility on the property. We are VERY dog friendly and can be off lead as long as the dogs are friendly towards people and other dogs and don't bite our horses. We also have other peoples horses agisting in paddocks. Activities you can do include boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing, crabbing, walking, stand up paddle boarding, bird watching, kangaroo spotting, playing in the parks, beach tennis, mountain biking, hiking etc. Camp sites are far from the main house and other sites so you can have camp fires and play music, use generators without worry. Campers will need to be self contained (rubbish and toilets) and please leave your campsite the way you found it. Don't leave toilet paper or rubbish in fire pits please. Enter / Exit the main gate by pushing the code into the key pad. Gate closes after 20 seconds once it is fully open so be quick. NOTE: ***During Summer- November, December, January and February there are midgees (sandflies) at dusk and dawn and we do recommend midgee screening or spraying the mesh on your caravan windows as the standard mozzie mesh will not keep them out. Bring coils, a fan as they hate any breeze, bug spray and long sleeved pants and tops to wear in the evenings from about 5pm-7pm!*** *4X4's are recommended if you don't stay along the fence line as it can get muddy if there has been lots of rain. If you stay along the fence line you will be fine as the roads are compact and hard and the camp sites along this fence are higher up, they are marked with Fire Pits so camp here if you want to stay dry and get a good breeze.*

Shared bathroom facilities available nearby. You are welcome to use the BBQ facilities located within the caravan park as well. We have a nearby billabong which has plenty of fish and turtles. Enjoy a meal at the nearby Gundy Pub or explore the surrounding area. Bauple Mountain is 5km away which is a great spot for walking and hiking. Mary River is down the road 4km and a great spot for fishing. The national trail runs along the river and is a great spot for walks or bike rides. We have a number of horse riding camps in the nearby area as well.We have fire drums available and well behaved pets are welcome. We look forward to welcoming you back when it starts to dry out. ** Woondum Ridge is 86 acres of pure Noosa hinterland serenity where rolling hills meet creek flats. Just minutes from the unique township of Cooran and only 40mins from world famous Noosa beaches! Cooran itself offers great little coffee shops, a General Store that is open 7 days a week and packed full of your essential items, an amazing paddock to plate restaurant ‘Hinterland’ and a funky brewery ‘Noosa Hinterland Brewing Co.’ The farm is a functioning small farm with 20 head of cattle and 2 horses following ecological farming processes. Guests can find trails on the farm to our infamous wine deck which offer views to the west towards the Mary Valley. A fire pit is provided, as well as a composting drop toilet (in dry conditions). A dressing room with shower amenities is available, although you will need to have your own portable shower and water to use in there. Bring your bike or horse for unlimited access to the Noosa Trail Network, wind down with a walk around the property in the afternoon and enjoy a camp dinner around a fire by night all the while listening to natures finest wildlife sounds. Kids 16 and under stay free! :)
