We have a beautiful hobby farm on 2 and a half acres. Camping is at the front of the property where you will find vegie gardens and fruit trees. There is also a fire pit (plenty of firewood available), a trampoline and a games shed with toilet, shower and kitchenette facilities. Yes we live on the property and the campsite is in the front yard, however we do not infringe on your space at your campsite or the amenities area - these are yours and yours only whilst camping here. We do not double book our sites, it is strictly 1 group at a time. You can purchase free range eggs in half dozen and full dozen when available. Please ask on check-in. 200m to boat ramp with river perfect for water skiing, jet skiing, tubing and freshwater fishing (licence required as this is a stocked impoundment). On opposite side of river is Sandy Hook Boat Club where major water skiing and power boat races are held throughout the year. Located between Bundaberg and Gin Gin. Bundaberg has attractions such as the Bundy Rum Distillery, Ginger Beer Factory, a free zoo, Mon Repos Turtle Centre, lower Great Barrier Reef cruises to Lady Musgrave Island for snorkelling, great beaches some with 4WD access. Great hosts. Nice quiet spot. They have more facilities than I have ever had at a Hipcamp (fire pit with seats and wood, toilet, shower, kitchenette, TV, games etc etc). The chooks were friendly 😀 Very much recommend this place.

Rules Beach turtle monitoring and bush camp was something special. Wide open camp spaces meaning privacy for all in a beautiful bush setting. Perfect if you want to be away from the crowds of caravan parks. Dog friendly and the site is a few minutes from the beach. Nicki the host is very friendly and is an encyclopaedia of knowledge about the local turtle population. Baffle Creek is 16 minutes drive away with shops, great pub ‘zincalumbar’ with very friendly locals. 10/10

Private and peaceful we loved our 2 night stay. Absolutely beautiful bush camp, loved all the trees and natural surroundings. Enjoyed the bird life and the local Roos. So close to Rules beach which was a pleasant surprise we drove up and down the beach and had a great day exploring. Also checked out Agnes waters and 1770 while we were there. Excellent communication and we felt very welcome but loved the privacy. So many spots to camp. The fire pit was wonderful to sit around in the evenings. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again

Rosgrow Farm, 15 minutes off the Bruce Highway, offers secluded campsites set on a large tidal creek. There are plenty of trees and shelter. The creek offers fishing, crabbing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, boating and swimming. Fire pits and picnic areas make the sites perfect for evening relaxation with bird life and jumping fish, talking about the day's fishing or eating the day's crab catch. Limited firewood is sometimes available. It can be bought at a reasonable price about 9km along the road towards Burrum Heads.. Campers must be self-contained with their own toilet and shower and need to remove their rubbish. Particularly suitable for RVs and caravans with own toilet. Well suited for overnight travelers passing between Maryborough and Bundaberg, or others needing a few days rest, fishing or water activities. Sandflies are a problem in this region anywhere near water, in the mornings until about 9am and in the evenings after about 3:30pm, so bring plenty of repellent and apply early and often. Sites are 30-40 metres apart with a maximum of 8 vehicles and their occupants in the whole property. No overcrowding! Pricing: Basic booking is for a vehicle with caravan, or an RV, and 2 people. 100 secluded acres located on the Gregory River approximately 15 minutes from Buxton township. The property is nestled amongst thousands of acres of national park for bush walkers an explorers. Guests need to be fully self contained and no toilets are on site. Access to the Gregory river enables fishing from the bank and a spot to place a crab pot to secure a local feed of fish or mud crab. There is also the option to put a kayak into the river from the bank. Campsites are located approximately 100m from the river bank so only a short walk to the water. Despite there being some snags, I have caught some very decent fish and crabs all from the property. For those wanting to spend a day on the water, I can guide guests in my boat to help land one of the many metre barramundi that call the river home. There are approximately 15 native beehives on the property and I am happy to show guests inside some hives as well as how to locate some in the wild for the interested bushwalkers and nature lovers. The property does not have power, water or toilets so please plan ahead. Significant rainfall can also make accessibility an issue along the 1km driveway so I would recommend a 4 wheel drive, however if it is dry a 2WD would be fine.

Great for bird watching and photography! All campsites have access to the water unless we are advised per booking. Less than 5km down the road you will find Wallaville where there is a great local Wallaville pub, and a corner store that offers great pizza. Telstra is available for communication, and we are also only 18km from Gin Gin and around 50km from Bundaberg. Campfires permitted in the designated areas only, bring your own fire pit when possible as we have a limited number of fire pits available. when fire restrictions/bans are not in place. Plenty of fallen timber around the place to collect for firewood. I suggest U bring wood for the ist night, In case it has rained & saves the hassle first up allowing U to chill out sooner 🥂 Well behaved pets welcome, but they must be kept under control and you must pick up after them. If you bring your horse, for an additional fee, you can explore our arena featuring dressage letters, obstacles, drums, and jumps, or test your skills in a dedicated area with permanent obstacles. For your convenience, our well-equipped camp kitchen includes a fridge, toaster, kettle, electric frypan, and microwave, along with all the necessary cutlery and crockery. Please remember to clean up after using the kitchen to keep it welcoming for everyone. In the kitchen area you will also find a pool table and dart board and arcade game for your use. If you choose to bring your horse you will find stabling or yards under Extras as begin your booking. The cost can be seen as you view the sites. The stables are rubber floored, meaning you use minimal sawdust therefore minimal dust. They are equipped with automatic waterers and feed bins. The yards are separated so that the horses can't reach each other from one yard to the other. Please ensure these areas are cleaned before you leave. There are rakes and wheelbarrows provided near the arena and at the end of the stables for your convenience. Our sites are best suited to self contained camping but there is shower and toilet availability on the property. There is a dump site situated in Crescent St Childers Enjoy your stay and the beautiful surroundings!

We are a family built and run property set amongst tropical gardens on 15 acres with a pretty small private lake and swimming pool. Our communal building has lots of power points, hot showers, flushing toilets, free Wifi, pool table, BBQ and dining areas. We are PET FRIENDLY, and dogs must remain on leads or runs whilst on the property. Please note that animals are not permitted in any of the undercover common areas or swimming pool enclosure. We are a short 2 minute drive to the new Agnes Central shopping center, 5 minutes to Agnes Water town centre and local beaches, and a 15 minute drive to the beautiful town of 1770. If you are looking to escape from the crowded caravan parks, you will love our piece of paradise.
