Mungar Hipcamp is protected habitat that is conveniently situated just off the Mungar Road about half way in between Tiaro and Maryborough, QLD. The sites are near a seasonal creek that attracts a delightful and diverse array of native birds, butterflies, insects, reptiles, mammals and fauna. Weather permitting. We have 3 separate camp areas available; 2 for 4WD campers 1 for Larger vehicles or vehicles and caravans that need a pull through site. Campers must be fully self sufficient. No waste or rubbish is to left on site. The local toilets and park with BBQ amenities is a 1 minute drive or 8 minutes walk away (according to Google maps). Local RV dump points can be found here: www.exploroz.com/places/118419/qld+maryborough-showgrounds-dump-point-free The property is situated about: 12 minutes drive to both Tiaro and Maryborough. 45 minutes to Hervey Bay and the beautiful Fraser Coast. 55 minutes to Gympie. Pets including quiet horses are allowed for the same price as an extra person. Pets must be kept inside their designated yard or on leash. Log seats. Drum campfires with hotplates. Stars. This property is protected Koala habitat. It is under careful recovery. 1193A Mungar Road is a chemical and pesticide free property .
