Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided and there is plenty of firewood available. Please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a fire. There is a basic camp kitchen, toilet's, camp shower and a bar setup down near the dam for your use, complete with lights, weber BBQ, microwave, 2 hot plates, a toaster, sandwich press and fridge/freezer. You can also hire out the entire property just for your group or special occasion - please see entire property listing. ALL ARRIVAL INFO AND GATE PIN CODES GET SENT TO YOUR HIPCAMP ACCOUNT 48HOURS PROIR TO CHECKIN - Please have this handy on checkin and Please don't ring us at 10pm asking for this information. Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main dam that offers great swimming. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore. The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens around the house, as well as a horse and house cow that guests are welcome to interact with. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of Murray Grey Cattle or set aside for regeneration. Dog friendly. Simle composting/drop toilet available.

Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise. Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek, west of The Junction carpark above the camp site to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable for some campsites (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). Caravans are not permitted due to the steep terrain. A Portaloo is within walking distance to The Knoll, Upper Plateau, Valley View and Little Bunya campsites, otherwise your camp MUST be self-contained. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. For safety, no arrivals after dark unless arranged prior.

We offer complimentary kayaks and tyre tubes for guests use, BYO life jackets if required. Bring your fishing rod and fish from your camp or a kayak. You can try panning for gold in the river. Please note we do NOT have amenities or drinking water and that you need to be self-sufficient and bring everything you need with you and take out ALL waste. The road to the campsite is an all-weather access road. The campsite is also easily accessible with 2WD vehicles. A FAIR USE POLICY applies to guests who intend to camp as one party. Please DO NOT book separate sites. If you have a big group and want to have the campsite to yourself, then please head to our 'Entire Private Group' site. *Firewood available by the bag to purchase. (private contractor) The Mary River water level is determined on rain fall. I will make personal contact with all campers when flooding occurs. **The River is flowing very fast at this time, due to heavy rainfall. It is, healthy and there numerous platypus sitings at both site 1 and site 3.

4WD Recommended - dirt/gravel road and two creek crossings (through the creek bed) to get here. We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise. Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek, west of The Junction carpark above the camp site to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

Buranga Farm

Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main dam that offers great swimming. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore. The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens around the house, as well as a horse and house cow that guests are welcome to interact with. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of Murray Grey Cattle or set aside for regeneration. Dog friendly. Simle composting/drop toilet available.

They are about a one-hour drive south of the Sunshine Coast's main hub, Noosa, or an hour north of the state's capital city, Brisbane. The region is a natural playground of walking tracks, horse trails and abseiling locations, the mountains are also home to six small townships, linked by rail and country roads. Please note there is highway noise at this site.

Buranga Farm

Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main dam that offers great swimming. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore. The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens around the house, as well as a horse and house cow that guests are welcome to interact with. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of Murray Grey Cattle or set aside for regeneration. Dog friendly. Simle composting/drop toilet available.
