Exclusive private site on our 80acre WORKING* property just off the Warrego Highway at Haigslea. *(Please note as we are 1km off the highway there is subsequent highway noise, we are immune to it, but as anything, some people may notice more than others.) We are a working small rural property so with that comes seasonal tractor work/trucks and an element of busy, depending on what projects are on the go! Real taste of rural life while being smack bang in the privacy and serenity of our buzzing property! Private gate access for self check in and checkout. The large campsite is located alongside our 14 acre dam with a pontoon and dam banks to explore. The site is flat and mowed, with easy access from the road for caravans. The dam is perfect to launch a SUP/ canoe out on, float around on floaties and spot some turtles or eels. Great to swim in/ try your luck with a fishing rod, but NO JUMPING from the pontoon as water levels vary and submerged debris/ trees etc. (common sense swimming in dam and water sources.) The pontoon is perfect for evening sunsets (or a sneaky proposal, which has happened a few times already!) ** Please be very conscious of deciding to camp with children in close proximity to an open water source. Safety is our highest priority. The recent addition of our feature windmill makes for gorgeous photos and country feels. The campsite is bordered by seasonal crops. We also have Cattle that rotate through different paddocks on the property, depending on feed and crop cycles. (Not all guests will have cattle about sorry kiddies!) **Pets welcome, but to remain under STRICT supervision. Not to chase cattle or wildlife. ** Our property is also home to the local remote controlled airplane club. Guests will be able to see them fly around of a weekend. You can watch from the campsite but we ask not to walk through the paddocks or approach the club. During weekday stays (and some weekends) you will have the pleasure to see fighter aircraft, KC-30s and the impressive C17 Globemasters doing some low flying and pass overs as we are just on the edge of the Amberley RAAF Base circuit area. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping shower, and drinking water supply. A basic long drop outhouse is set up for guest use. Fire pit and picnic table for use. Firewood able to be purchased as an extra. Please leave no trace and take all rubbish with you. An information email will be sent a few days prior to your arrival containing all your checkin and checkout information. Perfect for a place to hideaway and relax for a staycation (40 minutes from Brisbane) or a base to explore the surroundings. LOCALS GOUGE: - For families, the Ewenique hobby farm is located roughly 500m up the road. Check out their facebook page, a good activity for the kids on the weekends. - Perfect spot to explore all our little country towns from. Fernvale is only a short drive, the famous Fernvale bakery is a must. - Check out discover Ipswich for whats on or around. Many great local pubs and things to see and do! We shifted from the Wallaby site (tucked away nicely) to this one for our 2nd night & they both have their perks! This one is right by the dam with limited tree cover but provides the ability to see/prepare for passerbys (for those traveling solo &/or with Dogs) & swim without needing to leave camp! We ducked out to the vacant camp site (the possum site?) to have our post-swim Zoomies hehe Love the trails to keep pups fulfilled!! Didn't feel like we would bump into anyone! 👌✨ Camp area is behind the Horse yards etc at the back of the property, so it's safe & quiet. Love this space!

This time was extra special for us as Libby’s cattle were in the area right near our site but fenced off from coming through to our camp. We had a wonderful stay last weekend! The spot is absolutely beautiful and we loved interacting with the friendly horses - be prepared for a couple of visits to the campsite each day, which we absolutely enjoyed. The views were spectacular and Viola was lovely and welcoming. We loved it so much we were already hoping to come back again this weekend!

3 nights at The Bush Clinic, Hinterland Retreat

Complete privacy in a secluded site. Peaceful, close to flora/fauna-lovely interaction with the horses! Nestled in the valley was spectacular. Dayman was very hospitable and helpful. Spent 3 nights ( including a storm night) and will definitely return.

Weekend Trip to Natural Bridge Retreat

We absolutely loved our stay on such a beautiful property! The campsite was spacious & right near the waterfall. Great location to explore Natural Bridge & Springbrook. Our hosts were very welcoming, lovely & helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to OZ SKY RANCH

The space was wide and the lake was beautiful. Perfect scenery to relax and swim. Eventhough we were caught by a storm, the whole experience was wonderful.

Had a great experience at site 2 very secluded, afternoon shade on the site and the dam was great we canoed most afternoons Overall a great place to camp for a few days
