Windowrie Estate is a family-owned wine company based 15Km from Canowindra and 30 Km from Cowra. The property consists of 300 acres of vineyards and a working winery located on the western end of the farm.In wet weather, you'll need a 4WD to access the last 100m Access to paddocks is over some rocks so low clearance vehicles not recommended.Dog friendly. No amenities so campers need to have own toilet and leave no trace. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place.

Bissys Permaculture Eco Retreat

We are located in the cool climate area of Central West NSW not far from Orange on a 97 acre property at Cargo. Our property is majestic with its views and surreal with the isolation and peacefulness of the land. Not to mention the night skies and closeness to the wildlife that visits.  This place is for people who understand and appreciate permaculture design and principles. There's the opportunity to see the food forests and market gardens amongst other things in their developmental stages. Tours can be organised.The farm is set in a valley with rolling hillsides and a forest at the top of our land. It's nothing to stand onsite and hear the many noises of animals both calling out and scurrying across the terrain. There are plenty of places to visit both onsite and in surrounding areas. BYO amenities. We are dog friendly but they need to be well socialised as there are other animals on site.  We run Bissy's Permaculture Cafe in town and any guest who books and stays at our place is entitled to one free coffee per person - see us on arrival. :)

Dairy Park Farm Stay

Dairy Park is a working farm on the Central Tablelands of NSW. We farm sheep and cattle, and on the property, you'll find kangaroos, wombats, lots of birdlife and wide-open space.Our campsite is very private next to the seasonal 'Thumbies Creek'. Our family has been here since the early 1820s. A great family-friendly campsite for those seeking a bush experience. Drinking water available but nothing else, no amenities, so you must have everything you need and leave no trace. 2WD most of the year unless rain, then need 4WD. Pets not permitted. Campfires permitted in a designated area only when restrictions aren't in place. Plenty of firewood around to gather fallen timber.All campers have the opportunity to join in our animal feeding every afternoon at 4pm, we'll take you along with us as we feed the chooks, working dogs, pody lambs and whatever else is happening on the farm! Mobile phone reception on the property is available through Optus and Telstra.

Waimanu Marae

 have 200 acres which incorporates rocky mountain and paddocks.

There is a walking track around the paddocks  or you can bush walk the bush track.

We also back on to the Dananbilla national park which is 35 square kilometres. 

A running spring fed creek with yabbies and watercress and small water hole in creek for a dip with small water fall.

We back on to 35 square kms of national park called Dananbilla.

You can see kangaroos, wallaby, wombat and if lucky akidna , goanna  , lace monitor  and many varieties of birds.

Great cell phone service with optus and telstra but not Vodafone. 

Can charge your phone ,just bring your lead and power plug.

Plenty of firewood for your stay from fallen  dead branches.

The mountain has the origional trig station for the area on top from early 1800s with beautifull views.

Meals are priced per person, and must be purchased with booking for our planning.

REVELSTONE MOUNTAIN

Wyangala Dam and village are nearby with access to watersports, fishing and nature walks. Elliot's Lookout is a scenic spot with fantastic views of the dam and back waters. The Cowra township is 20 minutes drive and worth a visit for all your supplies.

REVELSTONE MOUNTAIN offers camping with fantastic views. Plenty of space to go for a scenic hike, find spring fed dams for yabbie fishing or a quick dip in the water hole in Springvale Creek that runs through the property, lots of wildlife including kangaroos, rabbits and foxes. There are 8 designated camping areas  to set up your camp. Enjoy an evening by the campfire some firewood available if you forage or bring your own however please do not cut down or use any standing trees even if they look dead as they add a nice feature to the property. 

This campsite is suited for campers who are self-contained, with own camping toilet/shower amenities and water supply. Pets on leashes welcome (we have lots of stock wandering about). This is a fully fenced farm all gates that are closed must be closed after entry plenty of privacy, there are over 6 k of 4 wheel drive tracks with amazing rock formations and features all through the property .Each campsite is your own private space and no neighbours.
