Our campsite is set within our own ten acre private garden. With only one site booking, you have ensured the privacy to relax and explore the seasonally variable gardens, from the spring magnolia's, dozens of varieties, through to the camellias both sasanquas and japonicas, with the autumn colour of the acers. 

Centrally located great base to unhook and explore the Northern Rivers. These gardens are part of a wholesale nursery and there are a few times that staff may be in the gardens collecting cuttings. There is no access to the nursery.

Our place suits relaxed self-contained travelers only who want to relax and recharge.  Located just 10 minutes from Pacific highway at Ballina. 

Pets are Ok, we have a friendly large dog who may visit. There is a covered BBQ area with table and chairs.

For group bookings, up to 10, use the extra van / tent site in the extras section.

Rough As Guts Bush Camping

This is rough country and suits experienced campers. The price books the whole property for the weekend with up to 9 friends (if your group is larger send me a message to discuss). Strictly 4WD & off road camper trailer only.  No 2WD, SUV or caravan access. The two adjoining properties consist of over 420 acres of bushland with 23 dams mostly spring fed. There is also a creek running through the property with a Black Boy forrest and mountain caves. The property starts in the mountains and moves down to the flats. It has plenty of native wildlife including wedgetail eagles, parrots, finches, kangaroos, wallabies, goanna, very large scrub pythons, foxes, dingoes, quolls, bats the list goes on and on....There are plenty of camping areas depending on what you like. I supply nothing but a map and if you book the property you will be the only people on it. You will need food and water. You can also boil the creek water which is crystal clear. I recommend a camping toilet. I recommend a winch or recovery kit too. Bring your chainsaw as there is plenty of firewood available. Cheers.

Nicely centred only a 15 min drive from Lismore, Casino and Kyogle. Less than 1hr from Byron Bay, Ballina annd Evens Head.

Gravel road to entry accessible by all vehicles. "Scrubby Creek" is easily accessible to caravans, RV's and big rigs (these sites are close together. If you want more space “Gum Tree Gully" is for 4WD only and The famous LOOKOUT CAMP is 4WD only camper trailers, tents and swags. 

Bring the dog for a holiday - but please make sure they are on a lead as cows roam freely and to respect other campers.

Please take all rubbish with you. Toilet and shower available from Easter Long Weekend. Fire pits are situated at campsites.

We have bags of firewood and fresh eggs for sale. Be sure to add to your booking so you don’t miss out. And make sure you book the animal feeding for an added farm experience.

Woombah Woods Caravan park

This is a caravan park with a large grassy camping area. Close to highway (M1) and beach. It is an ideal place for families to stay for a few days to explore the beach, national park and a lot more. For travelers who want to stop overnight, this park is conveniently located to get on & off the highway with ease. We are dog-friendly for friendly dogs. 

We are upgrading the infrastructure (water, sewer, stormwater and electricity) of the park. Due to capital requirement and for the convenience of existing residents, the upgrade will be undertaken in multiple stages. The road will be concreted after all infrastructure are installed. During the process of upgrading, there will be some trenching and digging. The trench may be not filled property. The swimming pool is not available for maintenance until further notice.

Sylva Lagoons Primitive Bush Camp

Sylva Lagoons is a 570 acre beef cattle and native timber producing farm, which we, Pete and Elaine bought seven years ago, for somewhere beautiful and peaceful for our retirement. 

It is so beautiful living here we thought we should share it.

The lagoon at the campground is over 10 acres of water, with native forest on three sides. It is great for canoeing or bushwalking and our bird life is spectacular.

Dog friendly - with limitations.  Flushing disabled toilet available. Good access for 2WD. Campfires permitted in a designated area and firewood available for a donation to cut it all.
