The camp site was lovely and private. Having access to the shower and toilet was a bonus. The kids had a great time paddling in the lake and feeding 'burger' the steer!

Beautiful spot. Close to Scotts Head but feels secluded and peaceful. Hot shower and compost toilet made the trip that much better. Was lovely to find a spot where we could bring the dog 😊

I loved camping at Dodona. Richard, the host, was very welcoming and interesting to talk to. The property is picturesque and a very close drive to Coffs Harbour. 10/10.

Dodona was the most magical experience. We have just had a winter retreat and from the glorious maples in fiery red to the running creek singing in the night to the abundance of delicious fruit trees this stay was hands down the best we’ve had. Richard is a charming and knowledgeable host only too happy to accommodate anyone and anything. Could not be happier and we are always planning our next visit. Your stay with Richard goes towards a wonderful charity too, make sure you ask about the great things charity:water are doing!

What an amazing place to spend a few days or even longer. It is so peaceful waking up to the sounds of birds and cows. Our site was very well maintained and level. Having a fire pit is great to sit around and enjoy the stars. The caretaker on site is an added bonus and Steve was super helpful when we had some car trouble. Taking our dog for his daily walks was easy and enjoyable. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful stay.

Such a beautiful spot to stay. Added bonus of having power. We were there for a family weekend. The young grandchildren loved their stay. Large sites with plenty of room to run around. The caretakers were lovely too, even supplying us with “magical fire” for the little ones. Plenty of varying spots across the property to stay which are also lovely. Totally recommend this spot to stay.

Sure! Here’s a warm, friendly review you could post as Gibbo & Tarn: --- We had such a great stay here! We tent camped for a few nights and felt super comfortable and well protected from the wind. The campsite was the perfect size for our 4WD and tent setup, with a nice dry patch of ground that made it easy to settle in. One of the highlights? Rufus the dog! He came over for a visit and kept us laughing for a solid hour, playing fetch and entertaining us with his stick obsession. Absolute legend. Only a few minutes drive to some spectacular beaches and views as well. Sam was lovely and very responsive, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. There was also a good supply of dead wood on hand which made it easy to get the fire going again each night. We’ll definitely be back. It was the perfect little spot for a peaceful, no-fuss escape. Thanks again!

Sharon is an incredible host. No fuss and easy going. We had a good time at her place. There's firewood, clean toilets and tap water available on site. Hippy the pony is also a lovely host. He is such a sweetheart(I wish I can take him home😂). A highly recommended place and will definitely come back for future travels.

We only spent one night here but had an amazing stay! Richard was the most welcoming and lovely host and let us use his washer, kitchen and invited us in to keep warm at his fire place. A gorgeous place and super friendly host. Highly recommend :)

Valley View Escape is a 500 acre working dairy farm located in the beautiful Nambucca Valley just 25 minutes off the highway. There is stunning 360 views of mountain ranges and Lake Lumby from all our sites. We offer powered sites and unpowered sites which are all level grounded with grass and accessible by 2WD. There is non potable water available. Our powered sites are conveniently located close by the amenities with flushing toilet, hot shower and dump point. Each site has a fire pit, or you can use your own as long as it is not directly on the ground. There is also firewood available for purchase which can be done through HipCamp at checkout or cash on arrival We are a pet friendly campsite but we ask you to keep your pets on a leash and always have full control. Enjoy and relax at our communal picnic area with fire pit, shade, picnic table and pontoon on Lake Lumby which is great for kayaking and swimming. This is a great base camp to explore the beautiful Coffs Coast with many attractions. 18 mins to Coffs and a short 10 minute drive to famous Moonee and Emerald Beaches and Moonee Market which has a large Coles and Aldi, as well as specialty shops, cafes, restaurants and the family friendly Moonee Beach Tavern. Hand feed the many friendly farm animals, or enjoy hours of bush walking, bird watching or perhaps have a picnic by the beautiful dam overlooking the horses grazing, or discover our Secret Garden! Suitable for all size caravans, motorhomes, or any RV, 2WD's, tents, camper trailers and 4WD's with excellent all weather access straight off the main sealed road👍🏼 Lovely shady sites as well as plenty of open sunny pasture for your solar with use of shared portaloos in main camping paddock. You may also camp in the dam paddock by the water (when available) however, you will need to be completely self sufficient with your own porta potty.
