Whimsical garden stay!
The location has much to recommend it: the gardens are wild and whimsical and enchanting. There are so many sections to wander.
The field is huge and offers shade if needed.
Our first hipcamp experience, and we were big fans!
What an awesome place to stay for such a great price! Check out the bamboo room, the stupa, and the garden. Was greeted by 3 fluffy pups, 2 of which visited us later in the evening for a midnight snack. David was very responsive and welcoming. 11/10
This is an awesome stay, with a Stupa right next to you, a beautiful garden and farm to stroll through, and a bamboo room to chill in. Unique and fun. David the host was a kind and accommodating host.
I was nervous using this site for the 1st time, but David may sure my stat was perfect.
David communicated with me before and during my stay. All provisions were available upon arrival.
David never intruded on my stay & I felt like I was all alone.
David welcomed us immediately upon arrival. The gardens are beautiful and wild. David had firewood and waiting for us and showed us to the site which was pristine. There is a nearby lake. He walked us to his favorite spot and we enjoyed it both days. He was friendly but the opposite of intrusive- allowed us to really enjoy camping. The bamboo room is a fun extra and so is the Supa.
We had a great time camping at the farm. Sunrise over the field & stupa was especially memorable. Our daughter loved exploring the gardens. David was a great host and logistics were very easy. The grass pathways were very well maintained - I recommend waterproof shoes/boots for walking around when there’s morning dew on the ground.
Well tended, inviting land
The flower farm is truly a magical place. David was thoughtful and clear and even let me borrow some blankets after forgetting my sleeping bag. The land is well taken care of and the Tibetan peace temple makes this site even more special. Will come back again if I'm ever in these parts.
Delightful and restful hideaway
Delightful and restful hideaway amongst flowers, a peace pagoda, chickens and a bamboo secret room. We opted for firewood and had a nice fire as the sun went down. The gardens are beautiful and David was a lovely host. The nature sounds are a bit loud with frogs, chickens and insects. Bring ear plugs if you know you are a light sleeper. You can also hear a bit of highway noise. It was so convenient off the highway and so much beautiful nature.
Like a little piece of middle earth
Amazing place! A working flower farm with tons of cool plants and very interesting buildings just a few minutes from the beach! David regaled us with great stories and provided all the info we needed. Camp here!
