It was the perfect stay! The cabin and location near the water were beautiful. Dave was easy to contact to arrange my trip last minute too. I appreciated the amenities (fridge/freezer, water, port o potty nearby) and used the kayaks for a lovely sunrise and sunset paddle during my stay. I brought my dog and we were comfortable there and able to walk down the low-traffic dead end road for walks. My tip would be to bring earplugs because some of the things in the cabin whir and make sounds at night and as a light sleeper that helped me a lot. Otherwise it was peaceful and cozy stay.

Arriving, first look at cabin 2Sunrise paddle on the pond. It’s full of water lilies Cabin 2 at nightView from cabin 2. Kayaks ready to launch into the pond

Dave's camp is a hidden oasis tucked away on the Connecticut/Massachusetts border. My husband, dog and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at the rustic cabins. The full bed was super soft comfortable and the cabin was outfitted with everything we needed. We loved being able to take a kayak or canoe out on the pond, having morning coffee on the porch, playing with the very friendly property dog, and exploring the property. There are so many nice little seating areas to have a drink and enjoy yourself by the water. Also close to many conveniences in the area. Dave was a great host and we hope to return again soon. Highly recommend this relaxing glamping experience!

We had an amazing time staying here. Very surprising how a place so close to the highway could feel so separate from it. Beautiful cabins with electricity overlooking the lake, which Dave let us use his kayaks on. Lots of fire wood right on the property, and a view of the neighbors horses! Could not have asked for a better stay. Thank you, Dave!

Dave was wonderful!! He greeted us warmly and showed us around. The cabin was very cozy and he provided linens and cooking utensils that made everything convenient. The pond is beautiful, and the kayaks were fun. Everything about the site (including his great dog!) was terrific. The only drawback was the porta-potty. There was only one unit for BOTH cabins and when we arrived it was pretty full and stinky. Our only recommendation would be to provide a separate porta-potty for each cabin and to empty them between stays. But otherwise we enjoyed our trip very much.
