Come camp at our family-run river rafting company basecamp. We have been in operation for 50 years as a rafting business and we are excited to share the Tuolumne River Canyon views with you during your stay!

We are located 15 minutes' driving distance from the entrance to Yosemite National Park (note that after September 30th you do not need a reservation to get into Yosemite, you can go right in) and 15 minutes driving to the historic town of Groveland. Our campsites offer sweeping views of a waterfall, vibrant sunrises and sunsets, three different river canyons, and a classic Sierra Nevada foothills ecosystem.

Bring your own tent and camping gear, or rent camping gear from us. You are also welcome to camp in your van or car - you can park right at the campsite. We offer a bathhouse just a 2-minute walk from your campsite with flushing toilets, showers with hot water, a water refill station, and wi-fi near the building. Enjoy our lawn games outside of the bathhouse - corn hole, ladder golf, pickle ball, and bocce ball are all available for you and your group!

We are less than 5 minutes away from Rainbow Pools, a local swimming hole, and 5 minutes away from the Lucky Buck, a tasty diner. We are more than happy to give you suggestions on places to explore around Yosemite, Stanislaus National Forest, and Groveland!

We have a puppy named Nala who you might see running around and we can be around as much or as little as you'd like!

The most scenic campsite I’ve ever stayed at. Such a lovely site within an approximate 10 minute drive to an entrance to Yosemite national park. Liza was such a kind and thoughtful host and their puppy was the cutest. Bathrooms and showers were extremely clean and well-kept which is always a plus when camping. Would love to return!

Woh! Can’t believe that this is legit with amazing mountain view that you can even see 4 waterfalls, clean & big bathroom and toilet with hot water, very responsive and helpful host Liza. They provide picnic tables and chairs and also tap water & drink water. Currently they have 2 camp sites, both have amazing views but I would recommend the upper camp site. We stayed at main camp sites for 4 nights. We had an awesome stay at the camp at Yosemite. Camp location is quite close with Rainbow Pool just 3 min drive.

Great stay! The camp had all the amenities - even a barrel cooler of water at our site so we didn't have to walk to the tap. Unfortunately, we didn't get to spend a lot of time there, but I would have loved to see the sunset and use the propane fire pit. The space was very open (but also private), quiet, no bugs. Liza was also very easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. It was also extremely close to the Yosemite entrance which was key!

My boyfriend, my cousin/his BFF and I stood here for 2 nights. We really loved it! It was all of our first time camping on a mountain top. It was peaceful and scenic. Views were breath taking. We got to walk the mini trail by our campsite. The bathrooms and showers are super clean with soap that actually has good ingredients. They also offer towels And WiFi - by the tables and chairs in front. Kinda’ like the hangout spot. But who needs wifi when you get to camp on a mountain top?! Liza and her partner were such great hosts too. They went out of their way to help us find a place where we can kayak andddd, she gave us her reservation pass to go to Yosemite which was only about an hour and a half away. But so worth the drive! Nala the puppy is super cute and friendly! We loved her too! Everything about this place is magical. We wanna come back again, but with our siblings next time and make a tradition out of this experience. See you guys again soon!

Thanks so much for staying with us, Ann!! We loved hosting your crew and are so glad you were able to go enjoy Tenaya Lake an hour and a half away and that we had a pass for you! You all were great, we hope we get to meet your siblings and see you next time :)

If you are looking for a camping with facilities away from crowds this place is for you. Even though the sites are a bit crude, they provide a great view. If you have a tent which does not require stakes, you can use wooden platforms. If you need to stake it out, be aware that surface can be very hard. Picnic tables are provided at each site. The hosts were supper friendly, and communications before arrival were excellent. The showers and bathrooms are very nice! If you need to connect there is Wifi area available in commons. Overall, I was very pleased with 2 nights which I spent here.

Such an awesome spot! The location is perfect for trips into Yosemite (only about a 15 min drive up the 120 to get to the entrance). The hosts are so kind, helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable about things to do. So great having showers and bathrooms, while also feeling the openness and peace from the incredible views of the campsite. Can’t wait to be back!
