Windy Hollow Farm is an off-grid educational farmstead. Bryce, Ben, and Jennifer will all be around as your hosts.

COVID Update: The camping cabins are available for rental for shared households/social bubbles; cabins will be vacant for a minimum of 48 hours between guests; we kindly ask that guests follow face mask and physical distancing protocols in local businesses and on public lands/beaches/trails.

Our farmstay cabins are hand-built with simple amenities. The yellow and red sleeping cabins are located in close proximity to one another and share a kitchen cabin. Each cabin has an outdoor composting toilet, and an enclosed outdoor shower with hot water is located a short walk from the cabins, near the main farm house. The kitchen cabin is equipped with a cookstove, mini-refrigerator, and pots/dishes/utensils. Both cabins have a woodstove with firewood provided. The yellow cabin sleeps up to four with a queen-sized bed downstairs and a full-size folding futon in the sleeping loft. The red cabin sleeps up to 3 with a single bed downstairs and queen-sized bed in the sleeping loft. Linens and towels are provided in each cabin.

Families with small children should note that the cabins are next to a small pond. Parking is approximately 300' from the cabins; a marked trail leads directly to the cabins and a wagon is available for schlepping stuff.

FYI - some folks have shared photos or mentioned the cob pizza oven down by the greenhouse/fire pit. Please note that we only use the pizza oven for events/workshops and it's not available for use by cabin guests.

A few friends and I stayed at Windy Hollow Farms to celebrate my birthday weekend and decompress from the city. It was everything we could have wished for and more! A truly superb stay. You can tell so much thought and energy went into building these precious cabins and setting up the site. Truly a perfect weekend.

Such an incredible and magical spot! We had a wonderful weekend enjoying the cabins and the beautiful location. A great place to get away with a small group of friends. The kitchen cabin had everything we needed and the beds were so comfortable!

Logan and his family were incredibly helpful and generous. They have the sweetest dogs too. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a great stay at the Windy Hollow Farm. We loved the cabins and exploring the farm. The directions made it easy to find and the wheel barrow helped shuttle our bags to the cabins. We enjoyed the garden and chickens during the day and sat by the fire pit at night. Would love to return again!

Windy Hollow Farm was such an amazing gem. Staying here, I honestly couldn't believe I was able to find some a charming and comfortable place on hipcamp so easily. Both cabins are lovely and the farm is very interesting and full of friendly creatures like Penny and Jack. Nearby there are so many things to do. We were also very impressed with how well equipped the kitchen was. Would highly recommend.

This place is fantastic! As our first Hipcamp reservation, it did not disappoint. The cabins were exactly what we needed for a weekend to reset. The kitchen cabin has everything you’d need (propane stove, running water, mini fridge, local coffee with French press and all the cooking supplies you need). The outhouses are the nicest we’ve ever seen - the saw dust works wonders! The cabins were very clean, beds super comfy and just the right amount of space inside. Our boys (5 & 7) LOVED the climbing tree. Logan recommended Schooner Gulch beach and it was perfect - drift word to build with, nice long beach for social distancing. We fed giraffes at B Bryce Reserve (you can see the Zebras from a trail at Windy Hollow!) and hiked the bluffs by the Point Arena Lighthouse. All in all, they made us feel very welcome walking around the property to use the trails, hot shower and climbing tree.

We had a great time at Windy Hollow Farm. The location is beautiful and the cabins are extremely clean. Renting both cabins worked very well for our family and the immediate surroundings are very private.

The cabins were amazing! There are two cabins, each with very comfortable beds. The larger cabin (yellow cabin) had a small area for us to all hang out and play cards, with a little fire going nearby. The cooking cabin had everything we needed, even some local coffee and eggs from the farm! We ran into our hosts on the way in and they were very kind, but left us at peace during our stay. The farm is beautiful and quiet- highly recommend!
