The Rose Cottage- Urban Farmhouse

What a find! Who would have think that there’s something this rustic in the middle of an urban neighborhood. Lydia did a great job. This is more than just glamming. It has all the comfort of home. Nice clean shower/bathtub. Fully equipped kitchen. Close to everything in Santa Cruz. We plan to come back for sure whenever we are in Santa Cruz.

The Rose Cottage was perfect for our little family's weekend getaway! It's cozy, adorable, and in an excellent location. The hosts couldn't be nicer and more accommodating. Five Stars!

Kitchen and set with wine and chocolate. We had a great time and would definitely visit The Rose house again. Thank you for making it so sweet!

Lydia’s stay is perfect! Lovely little space with all the essentials, clean and tidy and super quiet, right next to a beautiful garden. Wake up to chickens and sunshine. Lots of sunny windows. The neighborhood is so peaceful and quiet. It’s also dog friendly!

Such a lovely space and really great vibes! Would highly recommend!

We had a fabulous time enjoying the unique and well planned space of the cottage.
Well appointed and spotless- met by a nice note and bottle of wine 😃! But that's not all, Lydia also made breakfast for us - phenomenal!
The chickens are adorable, but you wouldn't even know they were there if you didn't see them! Not a peep out of them. We loved the cat, Nova, walking around the garden and welcoming us.
The overall area is great. The cottage is close to everything.
We will DEFINITELY return!

The setting is magical and beautiful. Making breakfast and dinner in the kitchen with a view of the garden in bloom was my favorite.
The bed is super comfortable too; the claw foot tub very nice!

We had a great time staying at the Rose Cottage. It was a great home base for Santa Cruz adventure with our kids. Lydia and family were all so welcoming, had lots of helpful tips, and the trampoline meant that our kids wanted to hang out there at the cottage the whole time.

Lydia and Justin have created a sweet little spot tucked back in their little farmlet garden. It’s a bright and airy functional space that was a great base camp for our family of four. The strong WiFi even allowed me to work several hours a day. Lydia also took my 13 year
old daughter surfing early one morning and went out of her way to ensure it was a positive beginner experience. She’s a fully competent teacher with safety in mind. Thanks for having us!
