The Cutest Casita on Earth

Bill's place is an incredibly cool set-up with a secluded vibe that feels like a movie set. Perfect for a little getaway. Definitely would recommend with a couple of caveats:

There is a locked gate to enter the property, but there is an open narrow pathway in the back that leads to an access road that runs behind it. No gate. Not sure why it's set up this way as it seems it would be easy to install a gate, and it doesn't feel unsafe, but it doesn't feel completely secure either. Also, we stayed here in mid-July and it got pretty buggy at night, so be sure to bring mosquito repellant.

Other than that, we got a great night's sleep with the sounds of nature all around us, and the place is adorable. I would stay again during another time of year, but really only if the back pathway was gated and secure.

this is how to do malibu—immersed in nature, not too far from all the womderful cuisine malibu has to offer. bill’s place combines the best of both with enchanting, plant-tastic outdoor spaces and cozy, colorful accommodations. take a walk down the street and smile at friendly neighbors while admiring the gorgeous biodiversity. nearby are some great hikes that give you a glimpse of topanga canyon’s natural beauty. at night you can relax with a drink and a meal by the fire— bill’s got all the cooking supplies you need to pretend you live here for a whole. i found my new happy place here!

The butterfly garden and greenhouse right outside is so cool! Valley view is nice, kitchen has everything you need, outdoor bed a nice place for a nap.

A magical little spot. We spent one night and will be back! Highly recommend grabbing groceries and just cooking here as this Casita has all necessary kitchen tools and more! The site offered plenty of privacy and beautiful views.

This was one of my favorite places to stay ever! I loved the beautiful scenery and thoughtful details of the entire property. Everything was so colorful, eclectic, playful-- yet comfortable, and practical for outdoor living. The gardens, fountains, and plants were heaven amongst the magical Topanga backdrop. You could get lost in the vibe here for days. My 2 year old son felt right at home and we didn't want to leave.

Amazing place — kitchen is fully stocked so we cooked a lot. Two large beds and lots of greenery and plants around. Bill showed us around his amazing property and was very nice to let us use his pool.

This idyllic site was peaceful, private and was full of amenities! We were greeted by Bill, who offered us use of the pool and this was an unexpected bonus! Great views with cute, retro-vintage details visible in every facet of the Casita! Bill has dedicated himself to this little labor of love and it is a small slice of heaven! We will be back!

Our stay exceeded all expectations. The property was absolutely beautiful. It provided us the necessary respite we needed from the city. It was clean, peaceful and convenient. Loved the outdoor living set up, our accommodations were incredibly comfortable. . I highly recommend Bill's place. Looking forward to returning soon.

This site exceeded ALL my expectations! In addition to being highly ”Instagram-able”, the views were stunning, the upkeep pristine and it had amazing amenities from running water and fully functional electricity to appliances and fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. The host Bill was so beyond accommodating! He was lovely, easily reachable and made our stay extra special by giving us a personal tour. Our campsite felt very private serene and safe, and we had an amazing stay! I really can’t say enough positive things about my time there! I wanted to move in!! We will be back soon for sure!
