PLEASE DON'T GO TO MY NEIGHBORS HOUSE!!! GOOGLE MAPS DOES NOT WORK HERE!!! READ THE "ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS" AND FOLLOW THEM!

Campsite #3, aka "Sunset Point," has a picnic table, a fire pit, and a great view. It is the most popular site because of its isolation from the main house and incredible views. A vintage trailer is parked at this site. You can check it out if you prefer a roof over your head. Please be aware that it is a bit of a walk up to the bath house for a flush toilet and shower (there is a latrine at the site) and that the walking loop passes right next to campsite #3.

- Get directions at the main house or follow the signs if no one is home.

- There is a simple latrine at each site. A full bath house with a flush toilet and hot shower is available next to the main house. A water spigot is attached to the main house.

- Spare camping supplies are available by the bath house if you forget something! Ask ahead if you need to borrow a specific item.

More about the property: I built my home high upon a southern ridge. Watching the river of coastal fog flow in and out below me is one of the most wonderful views to behold! I have 30 acres of land to explore and camp upon in the surrounding redwood forest.

10 miles east are Montgomery Woods redwood preserve with GIANT trees, and a little farther, perhaps a mile is the famous Orr Hot Springs Resort. If you drive a half hour west from my land you will be in the coastal Mendocino village.

We are marijuana friendly!! Thus, we have created more of an adult oriented atmosphere.

one last note: We recently made separate listings for different sites. See campsite #1 for reviews.

Cosmo was super friendly & the campsite was AWESOME. There were a bunch of good spots for tents, and the views looking down from the ridgeline were great for the sunset & watching fog fill the valley below.

Beautiful location, quiet, open space surrounded by trees, 40 mins to the coast for some daytime exploration. I arrived after dark and Cosmo had already made me a campfire... top!! Cosmo's tuna was delicious, definitely grab a can or two. Unfortunately I think I set my tent up on a tick nest, as I found multiple in and around my tent/gear and found four on my dog so I had to cut my trip short and deal with those pests but hey, that's camping! I would just recommend bringing a large ground cover/tarp, doing regular checks and maybe some tick repellant as the campground is in a grassy area.

We had a fantastic time at Cosmo's camp! Cosmo greeted us, even with a late arrival, and led us to our campsite where he already had a fire set up for us. What a gorgeous view! We enjoyed touring the property at our leisure in the morning. Our second night was rainy and Cosmo helped us with accommodations for that as well. Cosmo has a truly amazing and inspiring homestead. We tried the tuna, and you should as well (we'll definitely getting some more for camping and our next stay at Cosmo's!)!

Beautiful property to camp on with many things to see. The host is awesome. Please note this is not your typical camping place definitely a great 420 option filled friendly smiling faces. It is a distance walk to each campsite- it feels like you're alone in the wilderness.

The campsite was gorgeous- great views. It is conveniently next to the road but very private. No one walked by or anything besides the guy watching the place, who popped in for a bit to make sure we were settled and everything which was nice. Also there is an outdoor toilet in the ground at the trail located at the campsite (#3) we didn’t even notice until the second day! Lol but would deff recommend- also when they say 420 friendly they mean it ! 😉
