Description

Bear Harbor is located in the middle of the Lost Coast. Check in at the Needle Rock Visitor Center, then head on down the Bear Harbor trail to set up camp on the beach, under redwoods, or in canyons. This is a tough and secluded area, but definitely worth it if you’re looking for the raddest camping experience-- make sure you’re prepared for some backpacking. There are a handful of cool outcroppings out in the ocean-- check out the Chuster Cone Rocks right across from the campground, or hike down to Duffy’s Reef and the Seal Rocks.
