Welcome Hipcampers! We are 15 to 20 minutes from the north entrance to the Sequoias! Perfect central location to enter the Sequoias and head north to 'roads end' or south to General Sherman. Please see our dispensed camping listing for detailed directions and further description! All bookings also come with lodge and pond access! Come on in and use the kitchen, refrigerator, bathrooms, living room, TV, board games (in the front closet) and all common areas! Coffee is on the house! RV sites are on a level dirt pad directly off the 245 road. You can see them directly from the road! Very easy to access. Please take a look at the pics! There is double 14ft gates that open wide to allow you to easily back or pull in. Both sites include water, power, a picnic bench and full access to the lodge and amenities within. Site #1 has 30 amp. Site #2 has 50 amp. Both sites also have a seperate regular outlet on its own 20 amp circuit. Both also have water hookups, but sorry no sewer. If you would like a site without hook ups, please book on our other (main site) Sequoia Mountain Farms. We have many flat and shaded spots along the road in our lower campgrounds for you to choose from. Please note that our other sites will reqiure you to take a lower road to the back sections, which requires 4x4 when wet. However, we also have a gradual road to the lower campgrounds which 2wd vehicles and a number of 30+ ft rigs and trailers have driven to camp without issue. Please be advised that the lower campgrounds have no hook ups availible, but you still have lodge access, so that might be ok if you are on a tight budget or if both of our hookup spaces are booked. Please feel free to ask us any questions you may have before booking! We are happy to help! Hope to see you soon! :)

I booked this location and was immediately greeted with a welcome message from the host. I ran into vehicle trouble along the way and just can not express how helpful; communicative, understanding and accommodating both Andrew and Mark were through the entire ordeal. Mark went above and beyond in every aspect to make us feel comfortable and help us with the engine trouble. The property itself is spectacular. I would not recommend taking Millwood if you are in a larger RV or motor home as it can be very stressful. 180 to the 245 is your best option. The lodge was exceptional. Clean and well taken care of. Location is perfect for expeditions to the National Parks and Mark has a plethora of information available for anything you could possibly want to experience in the area. Having stayed at several surrounding hip camps; If you are looking for a camp in the area, this is the place.

It was less than ideal, we felt the facilities were inadequate for the number of tenters/guests. We were the in an RV. And had electric and water, but no waste for the water. The house provided a kitchen and one bathroom/shower. The lines to shower were several minutes long. We were unable to locate additional trash receptacles. Lack of signs to aid campers was a hindrance. When we opted to leave with still 2 nights stay, there were 5 tents on site with 2 person occupancy per tent. Less than ideal for the accomodations from the advertisement.

Andrew and Mark were fantastic hosts! The property was beautiful with lots of choices for tent sites and two nice RV sites. Our 31ft travel trailer and large truck for easily. Andrew met us at check in and helped us figure out the best way to park. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need, including free coffee in the morning and ice cream in the evenings! The bathrooms are very nice and clean. We used the high speed hotspot device and it worked great for Zoom meetings. Mark knows the NP very well and had great recommendations for things to see. We would love to come stay again someday!

What a great spot! We stopped here for two days with our kids and dog as part of a cross country trip. Lots of space and privacy and amazing sunsets ! Great local info available from host Mark who is super kind and helpful. Ice cream at sunset was a plus my kids really enjoyed. Bathrooms and shared kitchen were spotless. Woodpeckers in the trees, cool at night even when it was hit during the day… this is a great launching point for your Sequoia/Kings Canyon mission.

We spent most of our time in the forest, but the host was nice and the sunsets in the evening were beautiful. The road in was very curvy if that matters to you. Very close to General Grant Tree. It was a great two days!
