Finding my soul
What a great place! Beautiful country, amazing night skies, I mean really amazing! Silence surrounds. Camp dogs are so cool and peaceable. The energy is magic there. The hosts are really incredible people. Between the views of the desert, the silence, the wind and the great remembrances/stories of our hosts, I feel as if you could find your soul, as well. Incredible.
This place was beautiful! Other than the few bug bites I got (my fault for wearing shorts) this place was perfect for camping. Ellen was delightful and showed us around the entire property before directing us to our campsite. Her dogs are the sweetest and she has the cutest little horses. I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be coming back again soon!
Ellen was very kind, friendly and welcoming. She gave us a tour of the property, showed us the horses and pointed out the cave and the trail to the mountain. The camping areas have wide spaces and she gave us free reign to set up camp and explore her property. 10/10 would recommend!!
My friends and I had such a memorable time camping here, we already decided we are coming back. Ellen was very sweet and welcoming, she gave a brief tour of the land when we arrived. We set up camp not too far from the restrooms and the awesome hammock cave. We had a great time exploring the land and watching the stars at night. I highly recommend this spot for people who love climbing rocks, lounging on a hammock, and star gazing. I also recommend bringing plenty of cash, Ellen has an awesome little shop where she sells amazing hand made tie-dye clothing, organic white sage, jewelry, and more.
My husband and I spent here to celebrate our anniversary. It was the most beautiful campsite that we have ever visited and had great energy there. We fell in love with this place. Her dogs and horses were so sweet and friendly, also we enjoyed talking with a wonderful artist Ellen.
One night wasn't enough!! If you plan to camp here, we recommend staying for 2 nights.
Can’t wait to see you again! Thank you, Ellen and her dogs!
