This is a quiet spot with sensitive neighbors so campers must maintain that ambience when on or near the property. We are also very conservation minded in all we do here. We trust guests will follow our standards here and display good manners.

This is a very artistic and rustic property right in town, near the train station. It is nestled against a small hill that offers fantastic views in all directions. We have many hiking opportunities, a sweet downtown (with a creek), a small lake in town and the vast Pacific Ocean about 10 miles away. There are oodles of beaches, a protected bay with all the water sports you can imagine and close access to the world famous Big Sur coast and Hearst Castle. Located 12 miles inland from Montana de Oro and Morro Bay.

What an awesome spot! The dogs were little homies, there was tons of inclined space to adventure and art to behold, the tent spots had great views of the hills and Bishop peak, and Pete is a great soul that we'd love to know better. Will be back for sure.

Artistic and funky spot on a lovely hillside in SLO. Pete is a gracious host. Loved all the interesting ways he repurposed items in his creative space. The site has gorgeous views of a couple peaks. Easy walk to downtown and other points of interest. Quiet despite being relatively close to the train tracks.

Pete's house is more like an art installation that functions as a home. He had a great spot for me to park my truck at the top of the hill with a beautiful view of the sunset. He also invited me along his ritual sunday morning walk with his two cute pups to Linnaea's Cafe and told me the beautiful story about how it came to be. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Pete was awesome! I stayed in my van and the driveway had a level spot for me. Pete was very hospitable and great to talk too and also respectful of privacy. Cool dogs too!

Pete is a great host. His place has a lot art work and charm. Various sites on his lot to set up a tent. His place is located near downtown San Luis. He also gave me a little breakfast before I hit the road.

Pete was wonderful host! He was super easy going with a super rad spot. His home is eclectic, artsy, rustic, and convenient. His spot verges on urban camping, creating a rustic setting with a great view, but also super convenient spot to pop into downtown SLO. Easy walk or short drive over to the restaurants and shopping. Just my dog and I camped in our tent and I felt safe and cozy tucked back in one of the camp spots!

Ava was a great, no hassle guest. She and her sweet dog fit right in and I hope to see them again.

Pete’s got a charming property close to downtown with a few spots to choose from. You can camp close to the street to make unloading or accessing your vehicle very convenient or opt for the very scenic spot, which is what I did. I only had a tent and sleeping bag to unload so it worked perfectly. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again next time I’m in town. Thanks Pete!

My only complaint about Mike's stay is how little time we had to chat. I guess both of us were too busy but maybe next time.
