The Bunkhouse comes with access to a plumbed bathroom (toilet and sink), an outdoor shower, the Sky Deck, and a fire pit. Just a 10 minute drive to shops and restaurants in Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree, and 20 minutes to the Park's East entrance and Pioneertown, while also feeling secluded under desert's big sky.
The Bunkhouse is also equipped with a mini fridge, a fan, and a space heater.
Towels are provided.
Bring your own camp stove and cookware.
Firewood is NOT provided.
Guests share common spaces with the hosts, their two dogs, and other guests. The bathroom and outdoor shower are shared by other Hipcamp guests (4 more maximum).

Great little place to stay for a night. We were in town for a show at Pappy and Harriet’s and weren’t able to check in till late, but Chelsea and Ryan made everything easy. Cozy and not far from town, though far enough that it felt quiet and still all night and into the morning.
Lovely location , meh communication
My sister and I stayed here for a weekend. It was a lovely property , we loved the yoga deck and the outdoor shower. It made me a bit uncomfortable that we never actually met or had a positive interaction with the host. Communication was off and directions to enter were incorrect so we were searching for a while. Otherwise it was clean and as listed!
Margo this review is very disingenuous. You asked me if you could have a third person in the cabin and I clearly stated no and referred to the terms in the booking. You then asked if your sister could camp on my land. We agreed she could camp for a very reasonable fee of $45 (please see all hipcamp camping fees in the area to compare). I in no way made your sister sleep on the floor, in fact she should not have been in the cabin to begin with. As far as not seeing in me in person, this is not a bed and bed breakfast. If you can't respectfully fend for yourself, get a hotel next time.
Take advantage of the beautiful meditation/yoga deck and the views.

Our stay in the bunkhouse was perfect! Simple but beautiful accommodations and plenty comfortable. I loved taking outdoor showers under the stars and having happy hour on the shaded deck. It was easy to find, had great cell reception, and was a short drive to town and the park. Quiet, peaceful, and serene. I would absolutely stay here again, and hope that I do!

We had a great time in the bunkhouse! It was nearly freezing when we went so we took full advantage of the little heater and it was perfect. The bunkhouse is a cute and small, but just enough space for what you need on a weekend that you want to spend mostly outdoors! The bathroom was clean and private (but cold when we were there!). The bunkhouse and other hipcamp trailer are all close to the main house. There is a nice picnic table area and deck for outside hangs. The property is close enough to town and Joshua tree so you don't have to drive too far but far enough away to be nice and quiet. Overall a great stay!
What a cute little spot for a weekend getaway! We especially loved doing meditation and yoga on the sundeck. Looking forward to coming back here on our next trip to Joshua Tree!
