Pitch your tent in our forest! Located on Mill Creek right outside of Lassen National Park, our campground is secluded yet easily accessible. The creek is great for fishing and being so close to the National Park and surrounded by National Forest, the hiking opportunities are endless!

We have 18 sites available in our campground.  Each sites offers a picnic table & fire ring. FYI Sites 6, 9, 10, 12 do not have grills on their fire rings. None of our sites have bear storage boxes. We ask that you keep your food in your car while away from your site. Our campground is dog friendly, but we ask that you keep them leashed & picked up after.

Behind campsite number 11/12 there's a steep trail down to Mill Creek.  Easy access points to Mill Creek off Highway 172 only a mile from the campground.

We have two bathroom facilities.  The vault toilets located in the lower campground (higher numbered sites) & the shower house (upper campground, lower numbered sites) offer coin operated showers, flush toilets & a laundry mat. Only a short walk from any camp site.

We have a full restaurant & small convenience store just a short walk away from the campground area.

Restaurant & store hours updated on our website. Wood & ice will be available in the front of the store. Please plan to bring cash!

Come explore what the Lassen area has to offer!

We stayed in campsite 13 and loved it. You could always hear the creek running, and a quick hike down to it was easy. There were restrooms nearby, and potable water right next to us. We got to meet Joseph, who was super kind and down to earth. Firewood and ice were readily available on an honor system any time of day, with a small money box above em. We would definitely camp here again.

Great spot. Close to park entrance. We got in around 10 pm. The written directions provided were helpful. Be sure to note if you are coming from the south end, the driveway is third driveway before the restaurant. We were driving from Stockton area. Perfect spot to just set up camp for the night and head into lassen the next morning. Definitely recommend.

The Mill Creek Campground is exactly what we hoped - and more! The property is filled with large pine trees, a blanket of pine needles and winding paths. Our site, tucked into the trees, with a rock fire ring and sturdy picnic table, was all we needed to feel a million miles away from the daily routine. Bonus that it was a short walk to the bathrooms and water spigot. Everything was clean and neat and charming, with signs for places to explore and a helpful general store with piles of wood and a real phone booth! Although, no need, because we were surprised to find a cell connection right at our campsite. Jillian and Joe happily answered our many questions and gave great hiking advice. Sonora did us the honor of trying out our camp chairs. Oh, and we were thrilled we could include our puppy in the fun. We hope to getaway there often (the drive was less than an hour and a half through beautiful scenery) and try the cute cabins sometime!

Beautiful spot and worth every penny! The area is full trees and trails. Hiking is forever though I think some of trails could be slightly better defined. The hosts are responsive and accommodating. Pro tip: lots of kindling and firewood laying around.

I arrived at a weird time. They had just reopened not too long before I showed up from having been evacuated because of the Dixie fire & it is the end of their season. Their campground and resort are still beautiful and untouched by the fire, and they were gracious and allowed me as a last minute check in so that I could serve as a day volunteer for Samaritan's Purse Dixie Fire Relief efforts. So, I did not expect it to be perfect, and I'm making no complaints. The shower was nice & hot and the campsite was beautiful and quiet. The shower was tight, so bring an extra towel or curtain to drape over their shower curtain if you are worried about bumping into it. I would stay again. :o)

Due to an evacuation warning because of a local wildfire, the host had to cancel our reservation. Hope to be able to stay in the future.
