Pitch your tent in our forest! Located on Mill Creek right outside of Lassen National Park, our campground is secluded yet easily accessible. The creek is great for fishing and being so close to the National Park and surrounded by National Forest, the hiking opportunities are endless!

We have 20 sites available in our campground.  Each sites offers a picnic table & fire ring. FYI Sites 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 20 do not have grills on their fire rings. None of our sites have bear storage boxes. We ask that you keep your food in your car while away from your site. Our campground is dog friendly, but we ask that you keep them leashed & picked up after or we will ask you to leave.

Behind campsite number 13 there's a steep trail down to Mill Creek.  Easy access points to Mill Creek off Highway 172 only a mile from the campground.

We have two private bathroom facilities offering coin operated showers and flush toilets located behind campsite 5.  The shower house offers a coin operated washer and dryer. We recommend bringing your own laundry detergent. Additionally, there are vault toilets located in the lower campground.  The bathroom facilities are only a short walk from any camp site.

Our restaurant & small convenience store just a short walk away from the campground area and open seasonally. Friday - Sunday 3pm to 8pm with last food orders at 7:30pmPlease check our website for up-to-date special hour updates.

We are fully closed after the Labor Day weekend.

Wood & ice will be available in the front of the camp store. Please plan to bring cash! We ask that you leave money in a blue box located by the wood and ice.

Come explore what the Lassen area has to offer!

The campsites were nice and decent size. They were very close together, but there weren’t many occupied so it didn’t bother us. There is a nice trail to walk behind the camp ground. Being able to buy firewood was great, but there was a lot of green wood that did not burn well, and I couldn’t dig down to the older wood without tearing apart the wood pile. It’s great to have showers on-site, and the bathrooms toward the front of the campground were great. However, the vault toilets at the back of the campground were the worst smelling ones I have ever experienced. There doesn’t seem to be ventilation. I have experienced many outhouses and primitive bathroom situations but we almost puked in this one.

We arrived after dark and did not end up making a fire, but there was firewood for purchase. Site 6 was across the road from the bathroom/shower facilities which was perfect because it was super close yet not right next to the path that people would be walking on had it been busier. Would stay again if ever in the area!

Minus the very inconsiderate people next to me at 12am-2am, this was the best stay yet. Had some special moments on the creek with a mama and baby deer. We just sat with each other across the creek as we ate our snacks. The grounds are always immaculate. Showers and bathrooms are always clean and the water is always hot. Friendly people. Good food. Great place to stay.

Beautiful place with hiking trails and river fishing! We loved staying here with our dog. Firewood and ice available, showers for a fee, and excellently maintained campsites. We camped in a tent and had lots of space in our site. Great location for exploring Lassen Volcanic National park!

Great spot! Site was quiet and easy to find. Washrooms were clean and everything was very easy to locate and use. Very happy with our stay and would definitely stop here again. Was a great base camp for visiting Lassen.

We were in site 9, was nice and secluded.

Our camp spot was spacious and beautiful. The noise of the creek running in the background really elevated the experience. Facilities were clean and easy to access. We look forward to revisiting in the future.
