Matt was a fantastic, friendly, accommodating host. His property is conveniently located, flat, level, and easy to navigate. The area is beautiful, the sites are well-maintained, and there’s a nice mix of private space and opportunities for more social activities. Plan to bring your own shade if you’ll be out during the hot season. We would absolutely come back, and we had a great trip!
We needed a place to spend the night outside of San Francisco and we were lucky enough to stumble upon The Ranch at Cross Road. Matt was quick to answer our request to stay. Matt has done a lot of things to make campers feel safe and comfortable. His property is gated and both the road in and the sites are gravel. He met us as we drove in and explained everything that we might need. He also assured us that he would be available if we needed any help and gave us a run down of amenities. Overall, it was very professional and we felt very safe staying there. We would definitely recommend.
Wide open spaces!
We enjoyed the rural vistas and quiet, the farm animal sounds in the distance (never too loud), gorgeous sunsets and starry skies. We were greeted on arrival and all our questions were quickly answered. It was great to have easy access to potable water and trash bin. We hosted some local friends for a bbq under our pop up pavilion and they were pleasantly surprised at this rustic side of a tech town like Livermore. Lots of wineries close by the Ranch. Verizon users: be advised that connectivity is poor.
