Unfortunately the campsites were very close to a highway and we could hear cars loudly racing past all day and night. This was not the chill, nature experience I was hoping for. That said, Christina (Marcelo’s wife) was very sweet. She gave us homemade cookies and let us borrow a card table because there was no picnic table. We enjoyed seeing the horses and a guy named Nick gave us alfalfa to feed them which was fun.

This was an extremely convenient and safe location to park our trailer for the night while attending a concert at Napa Expo. Marcelo was very quick with communication. The site is clean and had good amenities including power hookups. As some people mentioned it is close to the road but to us is was not loud at all and did not bother us one bit. We would stay here again!

We parked our RV here while attending a concert in Napa. It was much less expensive than a hotel and the site had everything we needed - water, electricity, and a clean toilet. The host was very nice and responsive. The location is right next to the road, so it is a convenient place to park an rv. I would not recommend tent camping at this location.

The location in Vallejo is nice and this spot is pet friendly. Lots of traffic noise and water is a hose. The camping area is essentially a dirt lot so I recommend bringing a tarp!

If you are tent camping and seeking a quiet place in beautiful nature, this is not the right place for you. The area where you put up your tent is separated from American Canyon Road by what looks like a big dirt parking lot. The road is so close you can actually see people in their cars drive-by and it is loud and busy, Friday night, all day Saturday night and Sunday. When we arrived there was a trash bin overflowing next to the area where we would put up our tents and we found quite a few pieces of glass and cigarette butts laying around. The pictures did not accurately represent the experience. For example in the hip camp pictures It looks like there is a hot tub, there isn’t. The posting also mentions barbecue grills hot plates etc. available but when I asked about the barbecue grill I didn’t get a response. We were charged way too much money for what we got. On the flipside, if you are passing through in an RV and just need a quick spot to sleep for the night this place would be fine as there are electrical and water hook ups.

Fairly quiet but there was some noise from vehicles on the highway, which was somewhat close. Camping spots did not have numbered signs so we had to guess which one was ours, but Marcelo was good at communicating directions. One of the three spots is prettier and has some shade, but there was a barb wire fence that has fallen down separating us from a rope swing into the creek, which was low. Didn’t find the hot tub but we didn’t look too hard. The price was a little high for the amenities offered, but we also stayed over a long holiday weekend and it was cheaper than a hotel.

Convenient location and it was great to have access to water and electricity. Price seemed high for the condition of the camping area.
