Thank you for visiting our listing!

We have cultivated our working family farm to be a sanctuary - a place for people to feel the love of the earth, and what it has to offer us. Spectacular skies surround the farm, with roaming chickens, crowing roosters and vegetables, medicinal herbs, and fruits growing - a living model of what is beautiful AND possible in life.

The cozy TeePee has a vibe of it's own, and sits beside a sweet, peaceful pond, outdoor sitting area, and fire pit. There is plenty of room for additional tents and RV's. The convenience of accessible electricity, running toilets, hot water shower, gas grill and an additional covered sitting area make your camping adventure that much more comfortable.

Super convenient to get here! We're less than 20 miles from the Sacramento Airport, and just a few minutes off of Interstate 5. Yet you'd never know it once you get to the farm and feel the peace and quiet.

We're looking forward to seeing you soon!

Additional note....Life on the farm is calm, peaceful and easy... operating with the natural rhythm of the sun cycle. What few clocks we do have, are stuck on twenty minutes past four.

We are also family and kid friendly.

Please private message us with any questions you may have, or if you would like additional information.

Please know that although the teepee provides some shelter from the elements it is not a house. This is still camping and you will be subject to the elements of Mother Nature. Hot, cold, rain, wind, dirt, dust, mud and different animal sounds during the night. When you are here you may see frogs, toads, lizards, snakes (none poisonous) ants, turtles, squirrels, etc..  Those of you who have experienced camping before know that these are all normal things when out in nature but for those of you who have no camping experience I ask you to come with an open mind and a positive attitude towards a new experience. If you think you may have problems with any of these things PLEASE DON'T COME!!!

We  also have a dog named Sara that loves people. Most campers that come are very happy to have her around. She is polite and good with children. Some of you may not like dogs, if that is the case this will not be a fun experience for you.

Please note that as of spring 2021 we no longer have as many animals. Because of the drought feed prices are to high.

Cute and quaint Teepee off the beaten path just outside Sacremento off I-5. A quiet farm that is a great escape from the local hustle and bustle and the local farm animals were the icing on the cake!!! I will definetely be back

This was a great place for my group of 16 people! My favorite part was to be able to sit in front of the fire for hours

The Teepee is as the pictures, George is great and welcoming.
Only things I would like to point out is that the friendly family dog is part of the experience (or was in our case).
He entered the Teepee during the night (surprising us at the same time) and stayed on the sofa.
If that’s ok with you you’ll have a great time.

When we arrived, we were greeted by George and the family dog, Sarah. George gave us a small tour of the property and what he does day to day.

Overall great experience! You can walk around the farm and explore. The family is also really nice and caring. They’ll answer any questions you might have.

This was definitely a fun trip and will be back soon!

George’s farm was great and I would recommend it to others. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by ducks and chickens. We met Sara the dog later and also the horse! There was room for parking our two cars and a nice green area where we set up additional tents. The cooking area had everything we needed including pans, a gas grill, and even a bottle opener. George’s daughter met us and pointed out everything we might need and after that we were set for the rest of the stay. It was super helpful to have bathrooms and a shower. If you’re looking for a great camping setup without a bunch of camping neighbors nearby, this is a perfect spot.

The horse was super friendly.

Lovely property! We really enjoyed the grass area, the pond, and the restroom area. We also walked around the area a bit, it’s really beautiful.
The tepee was really cute but but had many cracks between the ground and the canvas so you must be okay with sleeping where bugs may crawl in. We also really enjoyed playing with their dog as well, she even slept in the Tepee with us. I got the feeling that maybe it was her Tepee.

We booked this site for a family gathering and we loved it. There were chickens roaming the property and the family dog Sarah greeted us when we arrived. She was with us most of the time and is such a sweet girl. There was a patch of grass for us to set up our tents. The grill was provided for us. George was very helpful and replied quickly to my messages. This is a working farm, but we did not notice the noise while staying here. We roamed the farm and there was lots of land. The teepee was great, early in the morning it is cool since there is airflow in the teepee. Overall, this was a great experience.

Wow! So much to say! George and his family are awesome hosts! They were all friendly, kind, and made us feel so comfortable at their farm! George was incredibly helpful with us with starting a fire, (we got the bundle for firewood), and he was responsive to any calls, questions, or concerns we had. It was super fun to be able to see how a working farm works, and just have a nice chat by the BBQ during the afternoon! It's very easy to find this location as well, and the instructions were easy to follow. We sat by the BBQ, hung out, relaxed, and had the view of the creek. The animals were an added bonus as well, with ducks, chickens, and toads just hanging around us! And of course, how could I forget? The cutest dog ever, Sarah was hanging out with us all day! She is playful and friendly, but it was also so nice to have her by our tent sleeping with us during the night. The teepee itself is so comfortable and we slept very well throughout the whole night. The outdoor hot shower was also a nice treat, and just made the experience even more relaxing! During the evening, it's quiet and had a very serene and peaceful ambiance! It's definitely worth it!

Our children loved to see all of the features of this farm. George's super sweet Weimaraner, Sarah, was our constant companion, and even wanted to sleep in the teepee with us. So many adorable chickens and ducks, and the frogs croaking in the pond were all magical for our kids.
