Cute little cabin, our hosts were very nice. Shower was a little tricky however it worked good. Don’t be alarmed by the cute little frog in the bathroom, reminded me of being in Hawaii with the geckos.

This cabin was idyllic and Joseph was an excellent host! We enjoyed our stay off-grid and were so grateful for the gas stove, hot showers, and serene setting. Joseoh went above and beyond to help make our stay. Nightly recommending asking him for his "Big Sur in a day" tips! You will not be disappointed.
Note: This cabin is super off-grid...which means you'll be able to to charge via USB, but don't expect to charge computers or get fast wifi. Use this time to chill!

Heather was the best. It's just to bad she live so far away and will probably never return...

Exactly like the description! A sweet small cabin with a wonderful porch and rocking chairs.
Fabulous site, artful stone bathroom/ shower steps away on a lighted trail. Borders a vineyard. Really clean. Great hosts! They’ve worked hard to create a great place for their guests!
Follow their directions - not your app- or you’ll take the long and really windy way!
Enjoy it as much as I did

Adorable, functional, comfortable little cabin made with love from Joseph. Great layout with thoughtful little touches. Bath house also adorable. The shower water temperature a little touchy, but heck it’s solar.

Joseph is a warm, caring host who not only gave us the backstory on how he built the cabin himself, but also gave us amazing tips for the Big Sur area. The one-room cabin feels safe and inviting, with amazing sunrise, sunset and moon views. The three little froggies in the outdoor shower were a surprise, but fit in perfectly at this quiet, off-grid forest retreat. Highly highly recommend!

What a lovely little getaway! Wish we could have stayed longer. Joseph checked in with us when we arrived and brought us a bag of ice. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but a great place to recharge.
