This camp site was unreal. The access to the gorgeous waterfalls and pools was breath taking to say the least. My trip didn’t allow me to stay long but I now want to come back to this beautiful oasis. If you’re looking for a place to escape to your own private waterfall playground then this is your camping spot! Wendy and Hudson were more than accommodating and shared their patio view of their fish pond with guests. The camp spot has a bucket toilet and is inside a shed for privacy. They also have a hose with water access and an extension cord if you need to charge your phone. It was a dream to sleep by the slashing creek through the night and would highly recommend this wonderful camping spot for anyone who loves waterfalls! This place is going to get a major upgrade once Hudson and Wendy have their bathroom built out! Thanks for a lovely stay!
Had an amazing stay, the hosts were super friendly and went out of their way to let us use their fire pits for campfires which was super kind of them.
The potty experience was a little unconventional then the other camps I stayed at but "pooing in a bucket" will definitely be highlight for me😂.
Also, the location of the campsite was the best with the hidden falls just behind our campsite, the water falling in the night was the best soother.
Amazing camp site
This is one of the best camping we had! Amazing location. Very private!! The campsite is short walk down the creek, the water is pretty shallow, but we still dipped and washed off in the little but very clear water that creek provided. Felt one with nature. The trees are about hundred of years if not more. Host were amazing! Provided us water and electric!! Super helpful. Our dogs loved the place too.
We setup a tent and a projector at night, and oh
Man? Is it worth it - YES! The sound of the falls merging to the sound of the movie we were watching, and darkness that the tall trees provided, made it more - amazing.
Wifi is also unexpectedly good ;) Whole time we stayed connected with our love ones.
The campsite is almost at lowest point of the mountain but our camper van (2 wheel drive) made it. Campsite Is very accessible too. Road is steep , wide and very safe.
We would camp here again in future if its available. Now looking for the availability days. ;)
Highly recommended. :)
Hudson greeted us when we got there and was very accommodating. He invited us to tour the property. We did, but just in the vicinity of our campsite. The pathway to the small waterfall was cleared and easy to follow. The water was nice and cool, perfect for cooling down after a hot day hiking in Yosemite, which was only 20mins away (to the parks entrance). The camp site was semi private. We were the only one there. It was also very relaxing. You can hear the water flowing from the creek. There were some bees/wasps/insects, that came out when we cooked. We did have insect repellents which really worked. We didn’t have trouble with the bathroom too, the site has a portable potty in a shed for privacy. Overall we had a very relaxing weekend. Would go back again and see what Hudson and Wendy add on to their beautiful spot.
Camp right next to a running river
Had a great stay at this semi private spot. You pitch your rent right next to a little river with some small waterfalls and fall asleep to the soothing sound of it all.
This is just a few min away from the cute little local town yet feels like you are away. Some houses around but nothing that felt like it was a problem. I know they will probably keep making this better and better since we were pretty much the 2nd visitors so will be amazing to see it in a year again.
