This secluded private camp site is the perfect place for a small to mid size group to have a wonderful camping trip. 20 mins from Yosemite South Portal it’s the perfect place to stay for your next Yos mite trip without having to deal with the booking challenges of finding spots inside the park. The owners are very gracious and welcomed us in and then let us do our thing. The rushing creek behind the camp site #1 was gorgeous and the constraint sound of the running water was soothing. Winter temps are cold but not that bad when huddled around the camp fire. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking to camp in the Yosemite area.

Perfect little getaway. You are right next to the "Hidden Falls", and though you are technically on someone's property at points you wouldn't know there are homes near by. It gives you a secluded feel while still having nearby amenities. Wendy was super helpful when we checked in and she and Hudson have a beautiful set up. Definitely check it out.

Hidden Falls was a wonderful campsite! My wife, dog and I spent two nights there and the creek, waterfalls, access to nature and privacy were so enjoyable! Though we didn’t meet Hudson and Wendy they were very responsive by text and gave us all the instructions we needed. The site is flat with a table and chairs, a nice fire pit, power cord and potable water hose available in addition to the “loo shack” which we didn’t need to use. They also have a little rack to grill over the fire as needed and It is obvious that they have taken care to improve the site. They even have a dump station if you need to empty tanks on the way out!

One word of caution- we have a 23 foot rig; F350 and truck camper. The road in and out is pretty steep and some turns requiring us to “3 pt turn” it! We got in and out ok but I can’t imagine being able to reach this spot towing anything. I’d pay attention to the 24’ max requirement!

Wonderful spot, great hosts! We’ll be back :-)

Thank you so much for the kind review Lawrence! Also, I appreciate you pointing out the suggested length limit. We had a couple show up once in a 30ft RV! I had to drive it in and out for them and have my sons and a neighbor lay down cribbing to keep the RV from being high centered but we did it! LOL. I prefer to not have to do that again. Sorry we weren't here to meet you guys this time but Wendy and I look forward to meeting you on your next visit!

This camping spot is truly wonderful!!
We brought our camper and camped here for 8 nights and explored Yosemite.
We brought our two dogs and toddler, we all loved it.
Hudson and Wendy are very helpful and kind.

The river and waterfalls right next to the camp were amazing!!
They have a pretty pond with a pet duck that is super cute!

Highly recommend this location!
We will be back!!

To get to the property and to the camp spot is quite a windy road with tight turns, keep this in mind when bringing campers or trailers and talk to Hudson and Wendy beforehand to be sure you’ll get through. We got ours through just fine!

The titular hidden falls are tight as hell. Wendy and Hudson were extremely hospitable and prompt with responses/requests. The site is what is advertised.

We loved camping on this site and the hosts were great! The site has nice little waterfalls and just a short hike from the site. We loved the beautiful flowing stream just below the camp site. We opted to purchase wood for the campfire and it burned very well. We even saw three deer. The site has some twists and turns on a narrow and steep road to get there. But we absolutely loved it! Highly recommend.
