You can’t beat the location of Corral Camping in Pioneertown. It’s about 3 minute walk to Pappy and Harriet’s making it a convenient place to stay when seeing a show. There are picnic tables and clean bathrooms, but you are basically camping in a dirt lot with zero privacy and small sites. It’s next to the pioneertown motel event space, so there’s often a wedding just on the other side of the fence. Noise from celebrations and surrounding businesses usually dies down well before midnight. When I camped here before, there were horses in the corrals and access to an open-aired communal kitchen where you could find water and shade, however this time there were no horses and the cookout area was taken over by a large group of campers. Karina seems kind and greeted us on arrival.

This site is perfect for a night after a show at Pappy and Harriets, which is a very short walk away. Everytime I stay here I end up meeting lots of awesome and fun people. The campground and restrooms are clean. This isn’t a get out into nature spot, but a great place to be in for a night out in Pioneertown.

What a find! The Corrals are part of movie-set-turned-town. It's only 4-5 miles away from a larger town so you'll have access to everything you could need, but far enough away to enjoy the starry night skies. You can camp here and enjoyed the cooler temperatures of the high desert, while still be able to visit Palm Springs (~40 minute away). It's worth exploring the town--both during the day and at night--great community, some cool shops, and even goats!

Karina was a lovely host, and made sure we had a great experience. She answered all our questions, made herself available as we needed, and even gave us a tour of the entire campsite to make sure we were happy with our selection. We had a picnic table at our site and the bathrooms were kept clean. The space is great for both RV/vanlife and tent camping. We did the latter. I would recommend bringing a mallet to drive the tent stakes into the hard ground, and bringing an eye mask if you're sensitive to light as there are a couple "street lamps" nearby. Recommend and hope to return!

Karina was very responsive, even though we arrived late. The camp is in a perfect location if you’re wanting to check out pioneertown, just a short walk to pappy and harriets.

This was the perfect spot for a P&H show. We moved between the venue and Red Dog m, the bar, a few times and our car was conveniently between the two. We recommend parking next to the smoke pit between the two trees for shade in the summer. Rock on 🤘
