Great place to camp! Jane was super friendly upon arrival , she let us know our reserved campsite was on the other side, across the street of the farm and had the whole place to ourselves. The portable toilets were clean and was very close to the campsites. The only issue we had, which was not Jane's fault at all was noise from others late at night(11pm to about 1am). Not sure if this was from campers on the other side of the farm or from neighbors in the area. We stayed on a Friday night so of course people are staying up later than usual. Overall, not a big deal and it was a great place to camp. We were sure to take some pie as we headed out to our final destination in Oregon.

Relaxing welcoming orchard and farm! Great place to stop off beaten path and enjoy all of Apple Hill offerings without the crowds. Kids enjoyed the stay too!

The campground was more of an off-road site. Comfortable enough but there was a LOT of noisy truck traffic VERY close. Felt like I was on a major throughway. And Pollock Pines yellow jackets were difficult.

We stayed here for a weekend out of the valley, and it was delightful! Jane was incredibly kind, and our two young kids loved picking blackberries, watching the farm animals, and exploring the orchard and forest. A great little spot, especially in the fall. And a breakfast of pie, donuts, and cider can’t be beat. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get away to a down-home farm.

Amazing area and lovely people! Had a tent available for rent when ours was missing parts, and let us know where we could get another for the rest of our group. The sweets from the pie shop were delicious, and they were a nice breakfast treat for the road.

Highly recommend! My partner and I really wanted to hike in El Dorado national forest, but the drive from SF to Tahoe on a Friday night is always a giant pain. We decided to stay at Jane’s farm to break up the drive, and it’s the perfect stopping point before Tahoe.

We ended up staying at Campsite #5 and it was absolutely perfect. There are cute little chairs and a nice picnic table at every campsite, and the hosts are awesome. When we arrived, we had an extremely welcoming introduction, were escorted to our campsite, and the host hung around a bit to answer any questions we had, and let us know that we were welcome to pop down to the pie shop at any time if we had any other questions/needs. In the morning, we had complimentary coffee (which was absolutely delicious), and there were fresh donuts, pies, etc. We left with two home made jams - I can’t wait to try them! If you’re looking for a cute and safe place to camp, definitely come here, it’s so conveniently located and very cozy.

Great location. Very friendly and accommodating host (and farm staff). The whole group had a great stay. We stayed in site 3, which was nice and forested, but when we stay again (and we will!) we would pick site 4. Tip: bring anti-wasp gear if cooking.

2nd time around and I would recommended. I appreciated Jane’s hospitality.
I love the privacy of the hike and the convenience of having the extra added amenities.
Thank you Jane, see you soon.
