This Casita was awesome! Perfectly situated, tucked away on the property. Everything was very clean, and the furniture and decorations were so cute and comfy! The property is expertly maintained , and there are so many critters! We woke up this morning to a young male deer right outside our Casita! Amazing experience. We will be coming back for sure!

This is our second time staying here and it’s great. Close to morrow bay, Paso Robles and San Luis Obisbo! We’ll definitely be back again.

The host is great with communication and welcoming , the place is cute with many nice touches, the bed and bedding comfortable. The loft bed has both lighting and a plug for charging your phone. I loved having a kettle for ease. I thought the bathroom was great, clean, spacious and nice design. I saw so many deer. Had no reception with Verizon. The host’s directions worked perfectly

This place was awesome for my little getaway because it’s so close to town but, on a really nice piece of land! Definitely would be open to staying here again but, be sure to read the directions thoroughly so you can bring all the items you need :) Dana was very responsive as a host and overall it was a great experience!

I had high hopes for my vacation at the Creekside Casita. I had promised my 12 year old son a camping trip, but I told him I was too old to sleep on the floor, so glamping seemed like a great compromise.
After researching many options, I settled on the Casita. It looked like "roughing it" in a more genteel way.
I chose this site because it had animals, seemed like it was removed from city life, but looked like I wouldn't have to pack too much to stay there.
Well, we arrived and the goats were not there (due to a predator, they had been sent to a safter location). Same for the Chickens (wiped out by predators), so no fresh eggs. There was no water in the creek due to the drought. I was feeling like my vacation plans were crumbling . . .
HOWEVER, the Casita was comfortable. It was cozy. It was in a beautiful location and had plenty of outdoor space. It felt like our own little world!
In the mornings we saw three deer right outside our door. We saw wild turkeys. We heard a donkey braying in the mornings, and saw the stars sparkle like gems at night.
The propane stove and fireplace were easy to use and the house had most things we needed. However, a couple of key things were missing, so I bought them on a trip into town. I contributed some kitchen towels, handsoap for the kitchen & bathroom, and sugar/splenda for coffee. If you are staying for more than a few days, I'd reccommend bringing some cooking oil and/or butter, a cooler for cold drinks, and some condiments. Otherwise, everything you need is there.
My son raved about our stay! He loved it so much, he wants to return next summer. We went at the end of August, and although days could be very warm, the Casita is shaded and comfortable. The evenings are cooler, so we slept comfortably at night. One thing I wished was that the windows had screens - it would have been great to open the windows at night and allow some of the cool air in.
The location is perfect - not far from civilization, but still remote enough that you feel like you are able to relax, unplug and re-charge. 100% I would stay there again!

This is a sweet little spot with some great trees and a nice host! It was a great place to refuel and repack my gear before the next leg of my trip. My dog loved the turkeys!!! (And I think secretly wants to be friends with the cutie campsite puppy) 😌
