Tucked away in the open desert among the San Jacinto Mountains, this is the perfect peaceful getaway near the stunning Joshua Tree National Park. Our land is a high desert setting with spectacular mountainous views surrounding the campsites. We are conveniently situated about 25 minutes from Joshua Tree, which offers endless trails for hikes and stunning photo opportunities. You can also hike from the property and explore our desert land on the Morongo Ridge Trail.  We are about 5 minutes from the Morongo Preserve, which is situated in the Little San Bernardino Mountains, and is a really fun day trip to hike, bird watch, and explore all the animals and wildlife there. Our property is also just 25 minutes away from Palm Springs downtown where you’ll find great restaurants, shops, pools, gyms, and fun nightlife. Even closer than Palm Springs is the classic old Pioneer town, with stellar sold out performances at Pappy and Harriet’s and the Red Dog Salon/bar and entertainment venues. There is a shooting range nearby as well if that interests you - just 5 minutes away.  We, as your hosts, want you to enjoy your time here and we respect privacy. However, there is usually someone at the main house who can help out with any needs or questions during your stay. Otherwise, you can contact us by phone or Hipcamp app messaging.  We are two friends and business partners who moved out of the city 3 years ago, and haven't looked back. The peace of mind outside of the city, allows us to think and dream big. We love sharing our land with guests! We hope you enjoy the view of the San Jacinto mountains, and the amazing open-sky star-gazing as much as we do!

    We really enjoyed our stay - Nate was a great host, friendly and around if we needed help with anything. Site offered great views of the stars. Bathroom and outdoor shower were a short walk away. Definitely follow the recommended directions and not Google maps!

    Super cute campsite! They had shade, water, a bathroom that was way nicer than any campground, and an outdoor shower! The firewood available for purchase was a great perk as well. Great option for staying outside the park.

    Not private, misrepresented
    The site was very close to other camps and didn’t feel private at all. There were also uninhabited campers on the property that seemed inoperable and/or not currently in use. Angles of photos were deceiving. When I told the host we found another place to stay and asked for a refund he said no, and that my $40 was “down the drain”.

    The place was nice enough, although overpriced after all the additional fees are added on. The owner was also pretty obnoxious and rude after we had left, which leaves me with mixed feelings….. but this is America at the end of the day and it’s people sometimes leave much to be desired……
