There are 4 small town restaurants, 2 with full bars and an old-time hardware store. A lot of movies and shows are filmed in and around the area so you may recognize these locations. We are only @ 15 minutes to Chase bank, Starbucks and Vons supermarket and @ 1/2 an hour to Magic Mountain. It is a quiet and peaceful place, perfect to "get away from the hustle and bustle of city life" but very close to all of urban L.A. The property has coyotes, squirrels, rabbits, bob cats, raccoons, kangaroo mice and snakes. We supply water, 30-amp hook-up, septic, a picnic table and benches to watch the gorgeous sunsets. "As a bonus we have added enclosed dog kennels for our guests' fur babies at each of our sites. Great to sit and enjoy the experience knowing your dog is safe and sitting near and/or next to you safely." Animal Tracts and Shambala Animal Reserve are minutes from us. 45 minutes away is St. Andrews Abby (monks in full robes with a lake in an oasis like area, Devils' Punchbowl with great views, another amazing hiking park), and you can take pictures on the San Andreas fault line in Juniper Hills. It is country living at its best. As a bonus we have added enclosed dog kennels for our guests' fur babies at each of our sites. Great to sit and enjoy the day knowing your dog is safe and sitting next to you safely.

If you're traveling to LA but hate the crowds, stay here! A quiet spot in a little country town, but just a 5 minute drive to the freeway and you're heading to everything LA has to offer. Paulette put a lot of thought into this spot - full hook ups, a patio slab with pergola, table & chairs, and even an enclosed dog kennel for your pups! The hill up to the spot is a little steep for a bigger rig - our 35' Class A made it, but just. But we'd definitely stay again - we were able to visit family & friends without the chaos of staying in LA. Vasquez Rocks are less than a mile away - an amazing geologic site & hiking spot. The little town of Agua Dulce has a winery and a good pizza restaurant (Big Mouth Pizza). There is a second RV spot across the drive which was occupied by a long-term tenant during our stay; the tenant was very quiet and has a nice camp. Paulette was accommodating, available and eager to help make our stay wonderful.
I hate to share how great an experience we had because if people knew how amazing this place was, it will always be booked up. You could not ask for a better setup. Fantastic covered slab area to sit out and enjoy the amazing view. All the kookups were top notch and perfect. Felt so quiet and peaceful. Great places to visit very close by. Felt like being far out of the city but close enough to everything. 10 out of 10. The host was very friendly and helpful.
Paulette was very responsive and helpful when we arrived. Very nice view but there was some green fencing that obstructed the lovely view, hopefully that's just temporary. Full hookups were great, and the pergola was nice (unfortunately it was too cold/windy during our stay). Would definitely stay again!

Private area with a view. Quiet at night. We stayed there, and drove into the Getty Museum. Not too far. (if only less traffic!!) Paulette was a very nice host. We took a drive to Agua Dulce Winery. I would highly recommend both Paulette's Hipcamp and Agua Dulce Winery. You also have to absolutely check out Vasquez Rocks, just down the road. You'll recognize the scenery. ENJOY!

Thank you for the wonderful review. I am so glad your experience was a good one. You were an awesome guest, and we would gladly host you again. Thank you for appreciating our set-up. It is important to me that guests can have a safe and properly set-up site when here. We are so close to everything because of the freeway having easy access, but Agua Dulce lives like it is miles away from anything city. A vacation is a special time and hopefully a good time. Glad that yours was. Loved the kitties. Thank you for staying with us.
