What an unexpected treat! We made a same-day booking request when we had to turn back from our original destination (Sierras) due to weather. David responded quickly, and the camp site could not have been more perfect: quiet, beautiful, peaceful, and well thought out. We enjoyed walks around the vineyard with views of the hills, and fog rolling in—and our 16-year-old dog loved it, too. The site is removed from the rest of the property and feels very private. This was exactly the calm, removed spot we needed—and yet just a few minutes from town and amenities. What could have been a total bust of a birthday trip turned out to be perfect. Thank you so much—we’ll be back!

We had a great experience camping at Camp Dirt! It's an amazing hipcamp - well-maintained, beautiful and more remote-feeling than I was expecting. David was a great host too! We rented out both sites to have more space (we had 5 tents and 3 cars). We didn't necessarily need all that space but it was really nice to have the whole spot to ourselves! Space has a really nice fire pit, a working outdoor kitchen sink and picnic table and benches. My dog had a great time chasing little mice and gophers around the property too. It's truly a beautiful spot. Also, we went to the winery's tasting room, Lafond, and loved it!
The place is in a ranch. beautiful vineyard and very silent. The facility is luxurious for a campsite. The host provide firewood, fire pit, lots of space. Highly recommend at spring.
Camp Dirt is one of the best camp spots I’ve ever visited! It is way undersold on this site I wish I lived there. Quiet, beautiful, unique and a super easy stay. I look forward to going back.
The property was beautiful and peaceful. Site had wood, water, and a very clean bathroom. We loved it.
Fantastic site! Didn't know in the spring it was wind season and this was tucked down away from wind. Lots of birds, grass, and even a coupon for wine tasting. We would definitely return!
This was an amazing camping experience!! Beautiful scenery, clean porta-potty, large clearing for tents, free wood for our campfire. Loved Camp Dirt and would definitely come again!
