Staying at the farm was a dream! Such a nice escape from the city. Facilities are clean and up to date, the queen bed in the yurt is very comfy and the farm and yurt itself are so cute. Not too far of a drive from Arroyo Grande (the town) if you feel like going to a movie or getting something to eat. A very quaint and quiet place. Ruth and Rutkins who run the farm are both so sweet and responsive. I took a little farm tour and had a really wonderful time! Will definitely come back again thank you :)

Wonderful Central Coast Location and a cozy glamping get-away. Very happy with our glamping tent. Bed was a little soft but okay for a few days. Space heater kept the tent nice and warm for our November visit. Outdoor kitchen was so nice to have. We had a dedicated shelf in the small refridge which was great. Shower and toilet were better than expected. We took the farm tour and really enjoyed it.

The property was lovely, comfortable, and clean! Lots of fun things to do in the surrounding area! The one difficulty we had was a lot of noise at night from dogs barking and the roosters. Recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper!

Booking was quick and communication was easy. We were able to utilize phone navigation to find the place. It is very dark at night so just drive slowly if arriving late. Recommend downloading the website directions to be certain.

The day before we arrived it had rained, and when we got into the sheets on our first night they felt damp. We had to keep all of our clothes zipped in our bags to ensure they didn’t felt damp in the morning. Second night it was fine because the air had dried out. Also the electric heater was really nice because it did get pretty cold at night. Big plus.

in the countryside, surrounded by other farms. Property seems like it has seen better days. Tent outside and facilities could use some cobweb removal/cleaning. I understand Ruth was in hospital, I hope she was ok. Another property guest checked us in. It was a nice getaway and refreshing to have a flush toilet and shower. Used stove to make breakfast. Really close to downtown Arroyo Grande, so made for a nice evening at the local brewery.

Great location! Would return. Was not the perfect visit, but I would give them them benefit of the doubt considering circumstances. Upon arrival we were greeted and told the individual in charge of the HipCamp stuff was unexpectedly in the hospital, but the gentleman (sorry, I forget his name), kindly changed out the sheets on the bed in the tent and showed us around. He let my kid feed the chickens which my kid looooooved, and then he showed my kid a few more things while my kiddo talked his ear off. Appreciated that. The tent and bed were cozy, the bathroom and shower areas were in a small but cute & clean little building very near the tent. There was an open air kitchen area, but we didn't use it. Downsides - the zipper on the outer canvas tent doors no longer worked, I'm not sure how much cold air this let in, but I'm mentioning it because it relates to the downfall of our visit. It got really cold overnight, there was a heater in the tent, but the power strip tripped in the middle of the night leaving us freezing. I woke up enough to know I was frozen, but not enough to realize it was because the heat had entirely gone off. There was an extra pile of blankets, but again, it's really hard to troubleshoot in the middle of the night when you are half asleep. Thinking back, when we arrived, all the power cords were unplugged and oddly arranged, which makes me think the same thing had happened to the previous visitors too. I left a big note about it in hopes to save the next set of visitors! (we only had the heater and a phone charger plugged in so it wasn't anything crazy we did). Also, I am glad I read the small print about bringing my own bath towel - everything else was included, but I figure this exception has tripped up other guests.

Loved camping here. It felt like a national/state park campground, but less cramped.

Oak Haven/ Branch Mill Organic is a hidden gem. We enjoyed our slow mornings waking up "outside" in the comfort of a bed :o). Everyone we met was so kind and thoughtful. The outdoor kitchen was perfect to make a cup of hot coffee in the morning. And the clean bathroom and shower with hot water was a gift!
