We are located just one hour away from beautiful Wells Gray Provincial Park and the town of Clearwater BC. There are many hiking and rafting opportunities nearby. This quiet little rustic cabin is located right on the Mad River and has a short (1 min) private stroll from the host cabin. Queen size bed with attached toilet and sink (no running water in winter). Off-grid but there is limited solar power for lights and light electrical use.There is a covered porch with room to sit and enjoy even a rainy day outside. Enjoy natural surroundings with outdoor cooking and a fire pit. Park your vehicle right outside.

Enjoy the wide open skies and breathtaking stars. Just half an hour drive off the Highway. Snowmobile up in the winter... The main logging road is good for vehicles from May-November (Weather depending).

This is a working farm with chickens and a huge veggie garden seasonally. We supply the firewood and bedding for you included with your stay. There is no garbage service available, so plan on packing out what you pack in. This river is not suitable for tubing as there are log jams and waterfalls downstream.

PLEASE NOTE Check-in is between 1 pm and 9 pm ONLY. No later check-in, for other guests' comfort and safety on the dark, winding logging road. Please advise us of your approximate eta, and text the phone number on your reservation confirmation when you reach the pull-out on the highway.
