Anna Marie and Ed are very friendly, gracious hosts. They made us feel right at home while giving us privacy in an exquisite, tranquil setting. This property is so very special and there’s just no place like it that I’ve ever been.

Great spot - we always check to see if this spot is available when driving through PA. Natural beauty 10/10, alive w gorgeous views, woods, ferns, etc. Helpful & lovely hosts, great place to catch your breath or reconnect w nature.

Anna Marie and Ed are fantastic hosts! Beautiful, quiet, peaceful, well maintained property. Appreciated the privy and shower so much! And they went above and beyond, helping us pack our ridiculous amount of glamping gear back up to the car. We'll definitely come back...with less stuff.

Anna Marie & Ed were delightful hosts! They met us upon arrival to the site, and even brought down some cold water and firewood for our stay which I thought was so generous!
The property is amazing, quiet, clean and beautiful– we were lucky to have clear skies and saw more stars than we've ever seen, and even woke up to a foggy mountain morning. They have several trails on property you can explore, and firepits for cooking and enjoying. The privy and outdoor shower were lovely surprises as we were prepared for the complete camping experience, but with facilities so nice, of course we used them!
We will definitely be back one day, this place is a must-stay!

We loved our stay at Whispering Pines Camp Site! Anna Marie and Ed were very welcoming and continued to check in throughout our stay. The directions provided on their webpage were very helpful. Our tip would be to track the mile up the road because we under estimated the distance and started over. We strongly suggest adding the bundle of wood to your booking. Anna Marie and Ed had it all set up at our site location and it was even covered! We had enough wood to last us two nights. We also explore the trails provided. They were well groomed and easy to follow. We had such a great time and have only positive remarks about it. We will definitely recommend this to others!

Great place to stay! Anna Marie and Ed have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Their property is so beautiful and well
maintained. We stayed at site 1 which came with a little cabin for sitting and storing our food. The fire pit had a grill and little wooden benches for sitting. There are hiking paths on the property or places to hike and kayak nearby. We didn’t even leave the property though. Just relaxed and enjoyed the view and quiet. The flushing toilet and shower came in handy. Anna Marie band Ed checked in throughout our stay and informed us of things like the international space station will by flying by and when. Such thoughtful, great hosts! We will definitely be back!

What a beautiful site! We really enjoyed our stay and loved hiking around, building a fire and checking out the mini cabin! Hosts were so kind and we loved our farm fresh eggs :) we hope to return!

This was a stunning spot. Beautiful, peaceful, quiet, clean, with a great combination of convenient touches and wilderness feel. The road up to the site is steep and rocky but we did just fine even in a moving truck in the rain.
What a spot! Got to watch the mist settle in over the mountains at sunset.

Beautiful spot. Great mountain view. Love all the wildflowers and butterflies in the field.
We arrived after dark and it was pretty easy to find campsite, thanks to good instructions.

the little things matter. and every little thing about this campsite was perfect. for example, the totes adorbs mini cabin we were able to use when we arrived late instead of putting up a tent in the rain. or the little tarp Ed used to cover the firewood so even a city boy like me could start a fire to make breakfast. not little at all: the effort the hosts have obviously put in to make a wonderful experience for visitors. can't wait to come back and stay longer!

Anna Marie & Ed were kind, welcoming hosts and the space was absolutely gorgeous. We spent a relaxing day there on our way from Philadelphia to Michigan. There were little hikes we could do right around the property, but mostly we just sat back and enjoyed the view. Privy was super clean. We had a great time.

Our stay here was amazing!! Not only was it a perfect get away with peace and quiet with views and rest. It was exactly the right amount of away to have in a weekend. Our hosts Anna Marie and Ed were accommodating and gracious the whole time, always available to help with anything, not that much was needed as everything was already there and available. I would highly recommend a stay here, because I would certainly go back. Thanks so very much for a wonderful time.

Anna Marie and Ed were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The campsite had a beautiful view. The main cabin is in view of the campsite (not much blocking it) but it was far enough away that it did not feel too distracting. Toilet/privy was super clean as well. Trails around the site were quaint but provided a nice walk. Would recommend!

Oak Mountain Hideaway is a picturesque property. We enjoyed stargazing into the clear sky’s on the first night and woke up to a gorgeous, frosty, and foggy morning after our last night. We met Ed when we first arrived and he was very friendly and accommodating. The privy was super cute and clean! Parking was close enough to camp to easily load in and load out.

This site was great. We enjoyed the night sky and overall remote setting. During the day we got in some great hikes in the nearby Quehanna wild area. Ed was a great and friendly host.

We had such a wonderful stay! The fall foliage was absolutely beautiful in October and made for such a wonderful experience. The wood that is provided is plenty. We enjoyed watching the sunrise with our coffee on the deck in the mornings. I love that they have trails throughout the property as well. We will absolutely be coming back!

We loved our stay at this beautiful campsite. We arrived shortly before dark with just enough time to set up our tent - our hosts Anna Marie and Ed were very nice and greeted us when we arrived. The campsite is a short pleasant walk from parking on a stunning, peaceful hillside. Transportation of our stuff was easy with the provided carts. The small cabin/outhouse at the site had a useful deck where we set up our cooking station (good picnic table substitute). Our 11 month old also enjoyed crawling around the deck! Expectations were exceeded, you should totally stay here. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you Anna Marie and Ed!

Our stay as Whispering Pines was wonderful. Anna Marie greeted us upon arrival to orient us to the property, always maintaining a safe distance. The campsite was clean and well kept. Firewood and drinking water was waiting for us upon arrival. The view and land around the site is beautiful. There are some short walking trails on the property, which is a nice bonus! The flushing toilet was also a nice perk. The whole experience was great and I would happily return again in the future.

Anna Marie and Ed's property was the perfect getaway! They were friendly and the site was even better than we expected. Great star gazing, awesome bird watching, sunrise and sunset were all lovely! We will definitely be back!

We were the only campers, and it was blissfully quiet. We live in a rural area, but still hear livestock and birds and crickets.
At this camp, it was total silence as we almost never get to experience anymore.
The hosts provided firewood,
kindling, water, and a wagon to tote your gear in (short walk. ) Nice little outdoor toilet.
The last mile in is up a winding dirt road—- you are really Away at this lovely camp.

Our stay at tent site #1 was absolutely fantastic. The views were incredible, the site was well maintained and Anna Marie was very helpful and welcoming. We brought alot of heavy stuff and she helped us get it to the site using her ATV type vehicle, which saved us multiple trips of carrying heavy items. The sunrises and sunsets were unparalelled. I would definitively recommend this site to anyone looking for a camping getaway without all the crowds and noise of a typical campground.
